Hero Pests Control did an excellent job on my home. They thoroughly cleaned years of pigeon nesting and droppings from my roof and around my solar panels, then installed bird-proofing mesh, anti-roosting spikes, and additional deterrents to help prevent future problems. The crew was professional, courteous, and worked hard throughout the day. They cleaned up after the job was finished. I appreciated their attention to detail. If you’re looking for a company to solve a pigeon problem and protect your solar panels, I would definitely recommend Hero Pests Control.
I recently had a very frustrating experience with Hero Pest Control that I feel others should be aware of. I initially contacted them for a specific issue, expecting a straightforward inspection and solution. Instead, the visit quickly turned into a sales pitch for a completely different service that would cost thousands of dollars. Rather than focusing on the concern I called about, the technician seemed more interested in upselling me on extensive and expensive work that felt unnecessary and unrelated. It left me feeling pressured and uncomfortable, especially since I was already dealing with a stressful situation. I understand that companies offer additional services, but there is a big difference between making helpful recommendations and pushing costly upgrades that don’t align with the original request. I would have appreciated a clear, honest assessment of my issue instead of being steered toward a much more expensive solution. Overall, the experience felt more like a sales appointment than a service call, which was disappointing. I would advise others to be cautious and very clear about what they are requesting upfront.
$650 is too expensive for bug spraying a house.
