Don did an amazing job! Needed to wire a new construction with Ubiquiti APs, NVR, Ethernet and security cameras. They quickly setup my unfinished networking closet, mapped every line, installed all the hardware, and left the final rack looking great. Will definitely work with them again for all our low voltage work!
Working with HiTech Installs has been a great experience. I used them to install my starlink satellite. The tech advised me which mount to buy and then when the equipment arrived came by and installed. I would use them in the future as well.

I recently had Hi Tech Installs cameras at my property, and I couldn’t be more pleased with quality of work. He took his time to make sure everything was setup properly, double checking each connection and making sure cameras work perfectly. He didn’t care about rushing the job to make sure cameras are install where I wanted and set at right angle. He takes a pride in his work and even provided free consultation on where should two extra cameras go in future.

Don was great! He spent time explaining to me how things worked and was very knowledgeable about unifi products. He installed a network rack, that included power, NVR, gateway, Switch, and two patch panels. He also installed 4 PoE security cameras for me. I would highly recommend Don if you need some networking work done.

Great work, delivered what was promised. My house had a bunch of wires just hanging out looking very unsightly. He came and cleaned it up and added a rack. Outside of not being able to terminate my cat6 cables that were installed from the builder. I just had to call someone else for that, but he was great.

Don knows his stuff and he is a hard worker. He made a real effort to understand my whole-house ethernet project (18 lines total). He made two preliminary visits and inspected four different attics/crawlspaces before starting work. Once work started, he was responsive to feedback and quickly found solutions to the inevitable problems that arose. He even figured out how to use a existing buried phone line to put gigabit ethernet in my detached workshop building. There were a few lines that didn't work at first, but Don quickly corrected the issues on a follow up visit. One thing to be aware is that Don's approach is to use exposed cable on the exterior of the house and in closets, etc. in order to minimize the number of holes in sheetrock. He can certainly cut holes and pull wires thru wall, but I recommend that customers be clear on how they want to handle the tradeoff. If you are the hands-on type and want to do some parts of a project yourself, Don is an excellent collaborator. In my case I ordered a rack and equipment myself (Don provided the patch panel) and did some supporting electrical and carpentry work. Don did good work at a fair price and I would certainly hire him again for any future low-voltage projects.
