I would NOT recommend High Quality Floors. Even with a military discount, we paid over $14,000 for this project and experienced significant delays and quality issues. The job was originally scheduled to take one week (Monday–Sunday), but it extended to three weeks before we could move back in. Even then, we had to live out of our garage for an additional week while repairs were being attempted. The workmanship was poor. The flooring is uneven in areas, does not lay properly, and there are visible cracks. The overall finish does not reflect professional installation. We also had concerns with how our home and belongings were handled. While larger items were moved out, nothing was properly covered or protected. We had to pay additional costs to have our refrigerator correctly reinstalled because it was left pulled out and not properly placed back. During the project, the crew claimed our oven was broken. However, we have camera footage showing it was not damaged prior to their work. While they eventually “fixed” it, there was reluctance to take responsibility. Although the company attempted to make things right, there were consistent issues with communication, including a lack of clear or written updates. There was also a noticeable lack of attention to detail, and it did not feel like our project was a priority. In the end, we had to complete some of the finishing work ourselves, including caulking. There was a clear lack of follow-through throughout the process, which gave the impression that the company may be taking on more work than they can effectively manage. While the individuals were polite, there was a lack of oversight and accountability. I had to actively manage the project to ensure progress and corrections were made. Even after repairs, we are still finding paint left on the floors from baseboard work. I am also concerned about the longevity of the flooring and whether it will hold up as expected over the next 10+ years. Based on the current condition and installation quality, I do not feel confident in the durability or long-term results. This is the second home where we have had flooring installed, and our first experience—through a different company—was significantly better and did not involve these issues. Overall, the experience did not match the cost or expectations. The delays, poor craftsmanship, lack of communication, and limited care for the home made this project not worth the investment. I would not recommend this company.
