We reached out to HOME SERVICES on Thumbtack in good faith after a tree fell on our 1,200 sq. ft. storage building. They contacted us and scheduled an appointment to discuss repairs and a full roof estimate. To receive a confirmation call telling us the job was too small for your scope of work was shocking and incredibly unprofessional. Even though your team member called back to try and save the appointment after I clarified we wanted a full roof replacement, the dismissive attitude ruined our trust.I cancelled the appointment because we do not do business with companies that display such poor customer service. Disappointing experience.
The person who came out gave an estimate of 7k when others quoted 1-2k. Then he offered to lower the cost by 700 when I said I was getting other quotes. I felt very pressured.
Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and repair work but they did not show up and did not notify me beforehand as promised. Poor communication and not respectful or customers time, didn't seem professional.
