Ron and his team at Howell’s Hardwood Floors did a great job refinishing 1,000 sq ft of cypress flooring, repairing the damage done by the previous vendor. Not only were they able to completely eliminate the damage but did so even more quickly than promised. When he ran into an issue with the oils from the floor not working with the original choice of stain and finish, he made it right at the original quoted price, despite having to do the work twice and scrap the materials used. Very professional, high quality work.

Wow ! My floors look beautiful. I would highly recommend if you need any work on your hard wood floors you give Ron a call.
We are very happy with results of having our hardwood floors sanded and restained. Ron was professional and was onsite regularly during the work, which was completed ahead of schedule. The crew worked long days to get done and did a very good job of cleaning up.
Ron was easy to work with. He came when he said he would, to measure and gave us a quote on the spot. His crew finished up on schedule and the floors look great. We highly recommend his services! Rick and Vida Hall.
Great company! A++ quality work and service. Ron is a great guy and so easy to work with. In addition to knocking out a standard hardwood floor refinishing project he also tackled a complicated parquet floor job that involved resetting a bunch of tiles before refinishing it. I am beyond amazed and satisfied with the finished product.
Thanks for the response, hoping you could put review where customers could see it, has start rating somewhere on it
Ron is a joy to work with. He does a quality job and was communicative throughout the entire process. Would work with him again ! He’s just a great guy and I know I can trust him to get it done! He did a wonderful job on our new/old home in University Park.
Ron Howell is the owner of Howell's Harwood Floors and he is meticulous. He oversees his crew continuously. His crew was always punctual, polite, and did great work. Ron is very confident in his craftsmanship; therefore, making us feel assured that he would do an excellent job. Our beautiful floors now reflect the attention and care that was shown by Ron and his crew. I would use Ron again without hesitation. He handled what I perceived as a seemingly overwhelming job with professionalism, courtesy, humor and achieved stunning results. Thank you Ron and team!
We bought a house with pretty sad and worn floors. They were scuffed, urine stains and gouges taken in several places. Ron was very upfront about what was possible and our options. The spots turned out better than we expected and went with the invisible finish. I highly recommend it, it really shows the beautiful natural wood without a shine. We plan on redoing our kitchen and will call them for the floors!
The owner and his team were super responsive and managed to fit my job in the middle of several jobs they were already doing. The great price and professional finish will make me use them again. In fact I'm going to have them finish the other floors in my house as soon as they can. I have some before and after pictures below. It looks great.
