The technician took time to explain the problem, didn't try to sell me anything, but did mention the service plan that i think is a good deal to prevent future breakdowns. We were lucky this time, because it was after the heatwave, and before the winter freeze. I would definitely call them again for my heating and AC needs

Not only will I never use them again, I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE EITHER. I reached out to them on 9/10 to assess why my AC upstairs wasnât blowing cold air . A âProâ arrived at home on the 9/11 mid morning. Now in the interest of full transparency, I heard a splash from upstairs while in my bedroom downstairs maybe an hour or two prior to the tech showing up. It get upstairs and notice water leaking from a deflated basketball sized area in the ceiling. It took maybe 30 min at the most for the tech to tell me this issue was a clogged primary drain coupled with a corroded, cracked drain pain. I was charged $311 for him to cut the pvc pipe to clear the clog. He said he was would a quote to replace the primary drain and drain pan. Itâs important to mention, I turned the upstairs AC off days before reaching out to thumbtack mainly because didnât make sense to run up electricity if it wasnât working. So before the tech left I asked, âit is ok for me to turn the AC back on? I was told, itâs not recommended. The leaking will continue if you do. There was ZERO discussion about my AC unit downstairs. Since theâquick fixâ the leaking from my ceiling not only increased but got much worseâŚ

Overall I had a good experience. Justin was nice, responsive, and professional. The estimate was reasonable considering the brand and extent of the work. I had both the indoor and outdoor units replaced along with all the ducts, vents, and attic tubing, while also adding another duct. For the installer (Gabe), I haven't seen someone work that hard in a long time. Though it took him about 21 hours to do the job over 2 days, he did it in over 100 degrees while maintaining a good attitude, staying respectful and polite the whole time. He was shorthanded and couldn't be faulted for the time it took considering the circumstances and conditions. All that said, there were a few things that would have really made the company stand out with a difference between effective and excellence: 1. If the installers had at least a company logo T-shirt (polyester or weather wicking for the heat), 2. If the vents weren't the same size as the new ones being put in and it left gaps in the ceiling, patching the gaps. 3. Replacing the return vents and the area below the air handler quick-vacuumed out, 4. Ensuring the copper line from the outdoor unit to the home was insulated and the gap in the outer wall filled with spray foam, 5. Ensuring the air handler plenum is cut correctly to fit the unit and the home and looks professional. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend them. The insulation was done be a separate company.
The owner reached out personally to resolve our concerns and ensure we were completely satisfied. It's clear he genuinely cares about his clients and takes real pride in the quality of their work.
I received an estimate of $6400. Then after the site visit was told that it would $6700. I then received a phone call the next day that estimate was now over $12000. Completely unethical. This is why HVAC installers are considered crooks for the most part. Buyer beware!!!!

What a great experience- Had 2 others look at unit. wanted 1500$ just to run checks. Heroes dtx, came out, looked at fault and repaired. Gave me options if repair does not work. Thatâs all I wanted. Very professional, straight to business, not trying to talk circles around me. Was very simple to understand. Highly recommend. Will use going forward!

Can't say enough about HVAC Heroes. They were out within hours, quickly diagnosed an issue with my heat pump and fixed it within 15 minutes. Probably one of, if not the best, HVAC companies I've dealt with.
