Chef David was fantastic. We hosted a large group and, as with any event, there were a few challenges along the way, but Chef David handled everything calmly, professionally, and made it all work. Chef David was extremely responsive, gave great advice, and clearly knew how to handle a crowd and organize an event. What impressed me most was how much he cared about every guest. We had several food allergies and dietary restrictions, and Chef David took them seriously and made sure everyone felt safe and included. Beyond the food, Chef David’s communication and personality really stood out. He was fun, easy to work with, and brought great energy to the event. I would absolutely recommend Chef David.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your chef. I appreciate fresh, farm to table food, served in a visually enticing manner with a touch of white linen. I pride myself in knowing the provenance of the food I serve my guests. Because I firmly believe that you are what your food eats, and it's so important to know where your food is grown, raised or sourced from. My intake procedure focuses on your desired tastes as well as any food sensitivities and all allergies that need to be considered as well. My specialties are locally sourced farm-to-table produce, sustainable meats and seafood and featuring Oregon cheese tasting flights expertly paired with the finest Oregon wines and tasty garnishes. I surprised my husband by hiring Chef David to cook us a French dinner for two for his birthday. We have never experienced a chef coming to our home before so having David for our first experience was above and beyond expectations. I reached out to David a few weeks before the dinner and he was so quick to respond. We spoke on the phone and he was so knowledgeable about the French dinner I had in mind. He put together the most delicious menu that was tailored to my husband’s favorites (brie cheese, rack of lamb, duck, crème brûlée). Mmm! He shopped for and brought fresh local ingredients. We were so impressed by the farm to table selection he brought and the story behind each ingredient. As a special request, he even made the crème brûlée before he arrived to allow it to set in time for dessert. The meal was an adventure with various flavors and multiple courses. We loved and devoured every plate. He even brought out the dessert with a candle and helped me sing Happy Birthday to my husband. I would highly recommend hiring Chef David for your dinner party if you want a memorable and tasty experience. 10/10!
Chef David prepared us a very special dinner for my husband’s 30th birthday. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and tailored the meal based on the menu of our favorite out of state restaurant which was so special. He was extremely responsive, flexible, and professional every time I had a question or asked for an adjustment. Every bite of our multi-course meal was absolutely delicious and exceeded all my expectations. He was incredibly knowledgeable about what produce was in season and he even brought fresh tomatoes he had grown in his own garden! Everyone agreed our dinner with David was the best part of our trip to Oregon. It was a true treat and the experience he created for us was worth every penny. I highly, highly recommend Chef David!

We had Chef David come to the Willamette Valley where we were staying at a guest house on a vineyard. He worked with me to create menus for two evenings as well as a take away lunch for our wine tasting. Chef David is committed to sourcing fresh, local ingredients and is passionate about “knowing the source”. That shows up in the quality of his meals. He made a weekend with friends extra special. He is reliable and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him!
