Rick and Keith came evaluated the situation, went to buy new lights, put in new wiring and I now have new working lights on my garage. They also found that my center light was shut off. That's why it was not working.
I needed a 240v outlet installed in my kitchen for a new range. Turns out I also needed to upgrade my electrical panel because there weren't enough spaces. Upgrade the panel and circuit breakers, and installed the 250v line in one day. Stayed as long as it took to get the work done.
Installed 240v and 120 lines outside including a spa box and an outlet, including trenching for burying wires. Worked with me to determine best layout and design, and made sure I didn't cut corners, especially focusing on safety, etc). A great experience, and I would definitely call again for electrical work.
I was charged over $300. For service and he did nothing. The piece he told me to buy doesn’t even work so I’m out of $325 and my sofa still doesn’t recline. Do not allow people to hear this man. He is a phony!!!
Gave exaggerated quote. Communication was bad. Tried to upsale to job with no reason. We got the job done by less than half of what he asked for.
came two hours later than expected even though it was last minute he gave me a time to expect him. then was overcharged for scope of work because I got estimates after the fact. also smelt like weed very unprofessional. also only semi fixed the job had to have another electrician come out and correctly do the job. Basically the breaker had too much load on it so he put everything that was on the non working breaker and tapped into another breaker with other stuff already on there. Basically fixed the problem to create another problem

The quality of his electrical work was good, and the property manager, who is also an electrician, approved the work. However, the overall experience was disappointing. From the beginning, he was upset because I had to delay the job by one day. Then, when I wasn't able to pay the remaining balance within an hour of him finishing, he became extremely unprofessional. He yelled at me, spoke disrespectfully, and became aggressive over payment, even though he had already received half of the total cost. He was unwilling to wait a short time for the second half. He also changed the price. He quoted me one amount over the phone, then gave me a higher price when he arrived. While he did honor part of the original agreement and even added an outlet, his behavior when it came time for payment overshadowed the quality of his work. The property manager ultimately had to step in and handle the situation. I will never hire him again, and based on this experience, I won't use Thumbtack again either. I felt disrespected throughout the interaction, and no customer should be treated that way.

There were many issues here. The main one is that we didn’t get a quote for what the overall job cost. In the end, it was much more than I expected. In addition, the contractor cut a drain pipe around an electrical board he was working on and now it is gushing out water from the toilet and sink from an upstairs bathroom. In addition a plate for the light switch upstairs was left out. Not a good experience.
