About Ingrid's Designs
Hello, I’m Ingrida Monaghan, Principal Interior Designer at Ingrid’s Designs and a graduate of the internationally recognized Interior Design Institute. Born and raised in Lithuania, I graduated from law school in 2000. Although my professional journey began in the legal field, my passion for interior design eventually became my career. My legal background strengthened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, allowing me to combine creativity with practicality in every project. With over 10 years of experience in residential interior design, I believe every home tells a story. My goal is to create beautiful, functional, and thoughtfully designed spaces that reflect each client's personality, lifestyle, and vision. My services range from small design projects and individual room transformations to renovations, additions, and new construction. I work closely with homeowners, builders, and tradespeople to ensure that design decisions are carefully considered and that the finished result reflects the original vision. From space planning and finish selections to furniture, lighting, and material recommendations, I take a hands-on approach throughout the design process. I work across a variety of interior design styles, with my Lithuanian heritage inspiring my appreciation for modern elements, timeless classics, and a harmonious balance between the two. I believe professional interior design should be accessible and that even a few hours of expert guidance can make a meaningful difference in your home. Whether you need help solving a design challenge, selecting finishes, refreshing a room, or planning a larger renovation, I can help you make informed decisions with confidence. My hourly design rate is $150. Please note that I pay for each client inquiry received through Thumbtack. I kindly ask that you reach out when you are genuinely considering hiring an interior designer and are ready to discuss your project. This helps me dedicate my time and resources to clients who are serious about moving forward. Thank you for considering Ingrid’s Designs. I look forward to learning about your project and helping bring your vision to life!
