About IQ general contracting

I'm Imran Qayoom, founder of IQ General Contracting. I grew up around construction — my father is a developer, so job sites were my playground long before they were my business. Today I'm also a real estate agent and a rental property owner here in the Capital Region, which means I don't just build things. I know what a renovation is worth when it's done. That's the IQ difference. When I walk into your kitchen, I'm not only thinking about cabinets — I'm thinking about resale value, rental appeal, and how to get you the most return on every dollar.

Reviews

“IQ Contracting has completed several projects for me, both at one of my rental properties and at my personal home. Imran was extremely professional, attentive to detail, and went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out exactly how I envisioned. The quality of work and level of care throughout each project were exceptional. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend IQ Contracting to anyone looking for reliable, quality workmanship!”
