We decided to go with J Smith for power washing as it was more appropriately priced than the $50 local deals for the task at hand. J priced his time at $150 an hour based on actual time on site. This is an appropriate estimate considering the work required, having the tools necessary to complete the job, knowing how to use them, and taking the time out of his day to complete the work. As someone who used to work as a commercial high temp pressure washer for hood and duct systems, however, this job was done atrociously with poor attention to detail and either no honor in his work or no clue on how to use his machine. The simple truth is: clean is clean, and dirty is dirty. We sadly paid J Smith, a professional, to go from having a dirty house that needs to be pressure washed, to still having a dirty house that needs to be pressure washed. I can not comment on J's other skills. I'm sure he is excellent at his companies namesake of window cleaning, etc, etc. For pressure washing, however, go elsewhere.
Jeremy did an excellent job! He worked effectively and my windows looked so clean and sparkly! He even rehung my curtains which I really appreciated.
