Hi, my name is Jacob! I specialize in weddings, proposals, and family photography. My approach to photography is naturalistic and organic. I work comfortably with all types of people, and my sessions are relaxed and spontaneous. Rather than focusing on formal or static poses, I aim to capture genuine emotions and interactions as they unfold. My sessions tend to be active and go with the flow, which works especially well for life's big moments, whether it's a surprise proposal, an intimate wedding, or a family gathering. What I do best is capture those moments naturally, clearly, and efficiently. I personally select and edit every photograph, paying close attention to the details. Every gallery includes 10 full-resolution preview images delivered the next day, with the complete collection delivered through a private online gallery that you can easily access and share. I charge one flat rate for each session, with no travel expenses or hidden fees. You can view an example of a completed gallery here. My Rates: đ Proposals: $350 (1 hour, 50â75 edited images) đ¸ Families: $400 (1 hour, 50â75 edited images) âŞď¸ Elopements: $500 (2 hours, 75-100 edited images) đ Weddings: Chapel - $1000 (4 hours, 175-200 edited images) Church - $2000 (6 hours, 250-300 edited images) Cathedral - $3000 (8 Hours, 350-400 edited Images) I understand that everyone's needs and budgets are different, and I'm always happy to adjust my packages to accommodate your financial and photographic needs. Every gallery includes blemish retouching and background distraction removal. Jacob just recently photographed our small church wedding on Saturday! I am very last minute and contacted him a week before and he answered within minutes, had a contract ready to go as soon as we spoke on the phone and made everything so seamless. I would have picked all of the choices, including punctuality and value! This was a bit of a last minute decision as my daughter only recently said she and my son in law were getting married this October! He responded on Thumbtack very quickly and the price was reasonable. He even suggested a terrific spot in Myrtle Beach for the ceremony. He had me check if I needed a permit, which I would have never thought of. The photos are beautiful and he captured the day perfectly. We had a preview within days and the whole shoot within a week. He did all of the editing that we asked for. I highly recommend using Jacob for your next event!!

Jacob was great for a family photo shoot with 6 adults and kids ages 9 months to 10. He worked quickly, which is essential with little kids, and we got some beautiful beach photos. He turned the photos around in a matter of days and we all love them! I highly recommend him.
We recently had the pleasure of working with Jacob while vacationing in Carolina Beach, NC, and we were blown away by the entire experience. Hands down, he is the best photographer weâve ever usedâand weâve had quite a few sessions over the years. From the very beginning, he was professional, incredibly friendly, and super responsive. He was flexible with scheduling, which made the process stress-free and enjoyable. He spent over an hour with us, capturing everything from family portraits to a special pregnancy announcementâand every single photo turned out amazing. One of the highlights of the session was how well he connected with our two-year-old son. Anyone with toddlers knows how tricky photo sessions can be, but he made it look effortless. Our little one warmed up to him immediately, and the resulting photos are some of the best weâve ever had of him. He managed to capture a perfect blend of posed, candid, maternity, and family shots that feel both timeless and genuine. Honestly, we have so many favorites that weâre struggling to decide which ones to frameâbecause we love them all. Our pictures were scheduled weeks in advance and alas, an epic storm ensued. Jacob was so professional, pivoted and helped set a photo shoot in our condo When mother nature decided to unleash an epic storm. Not only that, he was patient and waited out the storm with us. In the end, we were able to get some fabulous pictures on the beach! Jacob was responsive, professional, personable and all around fantastic!
I'm so glad I hired Jacob to take family photos for us! The communication ahead of our shoot was great and he helped us find a perfect location (we're from out of town). On the day of our shoot, Jacob and Ari were so friendly and helpful. They got our large group posed in many configurations and managed to snap some lovely candids along the way as well. The pictures turned out beautifully and we had them back quickly. Highly recommend!!
We were supposed to take family pictures but plans changed and Jacob was more than flexible with capturing perfect pictures for us. The pictures speak for themselves at him capturing the perfect moments. He was absolutely perfect and will gladly ask him to take my pictures going forward!
