HIGHLY recommend James!! He was extremely professional, helpful, efficient and did a beautiful job with the wallpaper for our nursery. The mural needed to be cut down and sized correctly for our wall, and he worked with us to make sure it was perfect and provided great recommendations. We couldn’t be happier with the result, and his prices were very reasonable compared to the other people we spoke with. He was also very responsible and easy to work with.

Wonderful job!!
Jim we great to work with. He came in and took a job that I thought would be two days in just 3 hours. I ordered not enough wallpaper and he made it work and made it look amazing. We had uneven walls and was able to match up the pattern beautifully. We also had him paint and the paint job is impeccable. Highly recommend. Will use him definitely again!
James was recommended by a friend, and he was able to do a virtual estimate for me, which was so convenient. He installed in 2 different rooms and I’m thrilled with how the wallpaper turned out.
I booked this contractor to remove wallpaper on August 26th after working around his schedule to make sure he was available. I reached out days before to confirm we were set for the 26th; no response. I then reached out two more times, including on the actual date of service, and received 0 response. 0/10 for communication.
Incredible work. I had a complicated space to install and he did an amazing and detailed job. 10/10 recommend
James did a beautiful job with the wallpaper for my baby girl’s room! I expected this given the photos and reviews, but can now attest to his quality work first hand. He was easy to make an appointment with, up front about pricing, and kind/professional. Will definitely be reaching out to him for future wallpapering needs for sure!
James was extremely responsive when booking and provided a fair price. He arrived at the agreed upon time and installed our mural within the quoted time frame. It looks perfect! He even installed the mural around our outlets. Would highly recommend!
James was awesome, he was able to install our wall mural in one day, and it looks beautiful.
James was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and the end product was excellent!
We hired Jim for several wallpapering projects within a local retail store. This involved lots of scheduling details and coordination. Jim responded every time, was open to all our requirements and created outstanding installations. He works quickly but carefully, doesn’t waste time, and understands all kinds of wallpapers and patterns. We ended up with amazing results that improved our spaces. Highly recommend! Thank you, Jim.
Fantastic experience with Jim, especially because the two walls included window trim. He had no trouble with that, and I'm so happy with the results.
James did an excellent job removing old wallpaper and hanging new wallpaper.
James was a total pro at taking down our wallpaper from our rental apartment. I would definitely hire him again!
He replaced and installed wallpaper
Two words: INSANELY HAPPY! James Butler Decorating turned my boring wall into a gorgeous showpiece. I have no knowledge of wallpaper and ended up being a bit short of material. Not a problem. James came up with an amazing solution and layout. The final product was exactly what I envisioned. Definitely excited to have him upgrade my dining room wall next.
We had a great experience working with James. Would definitely hire again!
Jim was quick to respond, available the next day for my small project and very professional! After being bailed on by another wallpaper install person, I really appreciated Jim’s professionalism!
I am so pleased with the experience I had with James. The work speaks for itself but there is so much more when hiring someone to work in your home. Work - it was as if James had done this hundreds of times before harnessing all of his experience with a focus on the job a hand. Hiccups came up as they always do and James took it in stride and kept things moving. James himself - so polite, friendly and funny. It was actually a fun time having him complete the projects. He had to walk 5 blocks back to his truck due to a error in my planning and he did it with a smile. Value - so so pleased with the result and the price. The work is error free which doesn’t always happen. Details - James hung wallpaper on two walls and it is perfect. He was efficient and clean and very skilled at what he does. He also hung/mounted two cabinets to the wall effortlessly it seems. It was also necessary to do a bit of electrical work to hide an outlet and it was no problem for him at all. Finally, he hung the mirror in the pictures below. The work was done so well. Thank you!!!!
I highly recommend hiring Jim. His work is excellent, he is professional and follows through with everything he says. We had very old wallpaper removed and the walls painted in 2 bathrooms and our front door repaired and painted. We are very happy how everything turned out!
