My EV charger was not working. I called the pro. He asked for $450 to change the electric outlet which he did. The outlet charger worked for sometime and stopped working within a week. I only charged for a couple of hours that day. I have been messaging him to check the problem again and there was no response. I called and his response was that he can’t check or help and that issue was two weeks ago even though I have been messaging him for past one week. If this is how you do the business, then you cannot be trusted. I hope that you also focus on fixing the issue instead of just trying to make money.

Falsely advertises a free estimate/$0 service fee. Had zero communication about price before the job, charged a lot for a 20 minute job, and our issue still isn’t actually resolved. Only positive was that he was able to come quickly the same day, but I would recommend getting a clear commitment on price before working with him.
I hired Jams Electric to install a new EV charger in my garage. He was responsive, came out the next day to review the project, purchased the needed parts, and the next day showed up at the time he said he would and installed the system. Additionally, I had him install a new outdoor garage keypad. I will hire him again.
Not very price friendly, he didn’t let me know an estimate before, so kindly find out price before he touches anything. Else you will not have much choice later. Good thing is he fixed the problem, but has limitations when I asked him to work on a recess light on high ceiling, now I have to hire another electrician. He expressed limitation when I asked him to disconnect, a low voltage device which “he thinks” is shorting the circuit. Now I have to hire another electrician for this ? I was not offered any warranty for work. So if it trips again I have to hire another electrician for this ?? I am left with a feeling now it may break down anytime again.
While I learned that Jams Electric is not a licensed contractor, from what I observed he does good quality work, was able to fix our problem in a timely manner, showed up as scheduled and was courteous throughout the process. Upon my request he promptly sent me an invoice after job was completed.

I spoke to Jam before hiring him and explained the problem clearly that there is no power in 3 outlets and replace outside lights and one recessed light and send the pictures of all the lights and outlets. He agreed to finish the job in $400. He came and replaced the outside lights and spend some time troubleshooting and said his tool is broken and he will come tomorrow and left. He even left recessed light wiring open and when I asked him to close it and he said it’s ok as he will replace it tomorrow. When I called him next day he said there is some misunderstanding on the troubleshooting charges and he cannot do the job as agreed. He did not pick up my calls as I wanted him to at least replace the recessed light. I will not hire him in the future and would not recommend him to anyone. Because of him I said no to another electrician who came first to look at the scope of work and provided estimates. Now I have to spend more money as I need to hire someone else to do the remaining work.

Jam was great came same day did the install of my Tesla wall charger and was fast and reasonably priced.
am text to confirm noon appt. At 1 I texted to ask if her were coming. He arrived at 2:20. Checked outlet and disappeared for 30 minutes. He needed to go buy parts but never said anything just left. We weren't sure if he was coming back or not. Quoted $185 for call and $50 if parts needed replaced. He charged $255 instead of $235. He charged us $20 for sealant that I had to go buy to correct his work and it cost $9. You can judge from the pictures but I would stay away from Jam's. How could anyone dor work like this and say he prides himself. Can you imaging looking at the blue while sitting in your garden. He came back and tried to scrap it off with a screwdriver!!!! You can see how well that didn't work. He left his trash in my planter and broke stems off of my plant. Oh and before I could get to the store to buy silicone I had to cover my fixed outlet to keep the rain out over night. These pictures show how he left it after he attempted to clean up. Last picture is what I had to do to protect outlet. Then I bought clear silicone gel which is what the internet told me to use.
