I had an idea. Jason’s creativity improved my idea practically and aesthetically. He came up with a novel solution for my wine fridge that allowed me to keep the counter narrower. Working with him was a pleasure and we are very happy with the results.

About Jason Walker Carpentry LLC
I specialize in custom carpentry and millwork for homeowners and designers who value thoughtful design, precision craftsmanship, and long-term quality. With over 25 years of experience across residential and commercial construction, I approach each project with a problem-solving mindset—balancing form, function, and durability to create pieces that feel intentional and built to last. My work includes built-ins, cabinetry, banquettes, and custom furniture, often integrated into larger interior spaces where detail and proportion matter. I collaborate closely with clients and designers to ensure each piece fits seamlessly within the home. Sustainability is a core part of my process. I prioritize responsibly sourced materials, avoid MDF and low-quality composites, and use low-VOC finishes wherever possible. My goal is to build with care—not just for the client, but for the environment the work exists within. Projects typically begin at $750, with most work ranging from $5,000–$20,000+ depending on scope. If you’re looking for design-driven carpentry with a clear process and a high level of execution, I’d be happy to connect.
Reviews
Jason did an excellent job carving out an archway in our wall niche. Very pleased with the outcome, exactly what we wanted. He was able to squeeze in our project in his busy schedule, and took extra trips to make sure everything was smoothed out and primed for painting.
Jason was great when it came to building a custom window bench for my dog to sit on to watch the world go by! He was extremely responsive, professional, and truly hit the nail on the head! It was a little tricky since it was a slide in bench that fit over a shelf that was currently set in the window nook, but he was able to build something that fit perfectly and has been such a needed addition to the apartment. It even has a shelf for my books to live in :) Thank you so much, Jason!
Jason modified my built-in bookshelves to accommodate a TV and to provide storage below the TV. He proposed options to meet my needs and was meticulous and neat in executing this project. Jason was very pleasant, patient, and responsive. I would not hesitate to work with him again. These photos show the "before" "during" and "after" of this project.
Jason was a pleasure to work with. Clear communication and a pleasant helpful manner. We needed some millwork to create a window bench in our kitchen, he built it in his studio then came and installed it. We’re happy to recommend his work.
Prompt, very responsive the entire time, professional, and used his expertise to make judgement calls for this semi custom project. It was also a bunkbed so there isn’t much room for error and instructions weren’t in final form so feedback was necessary and precise. He was the perfect specialist for the job.
We had a great experience working with Jason! We needed an entire wall of new cabinets built as well as new doors on our existing cabinets to match. Jason was responsive, personable, and delivered higher quality cabinets than we had before. I would definitely recommend Jason and would hire him again for any carpentry work in the future.
Jason delivered the skill and creativity I was looking for, big time. The task was to convert a stove area into a cooktop and storage space using existing structures. On his initial visit, he proposed innovative solutions, workarounds, and ideas for styling the new construction to complement the kitchen. Over the two days it took to build the unit, he was never less than professional, focused, and friendly.
The BEST HANDYMAN I’ve met in a long time! JASON is 💯 in my book! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
So glad to have worked with Jason! Excellent work installing the floating shelves in our kitchen, thinking through the different options with us and making sure we were happy with the results. Already looking forward to the next project!
