We recently hired John to restore and stain our large deck and pool area, and we are extremely happy with the results. The deck was in rough shape with peeling stain, weathered boards, and several areas that needed repair. John took the time to explain the process, replace damaged boards, sand the deck properly, and help us select the right stain color. He was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with throughout the project. The finished deck looks beautiful and completely transformed our backyard. The workmanship was excellent, the project was completed as promised, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved.

Porch repair was done very well! I am happy with the results.
We are so happy with John and his crew. Work quality was excellent. They were on time , cleaned up work area daily. Our deck is so beautiful thanks to Java builders. Highly recommended this builder. You will not be disappointed.
Jan was great to deal with. Very responsive. Offered to work on weekends to keep the project moving. His team did excellent work. Jan made sure every detail and request were taken care of. Highly recommend.
I appreciated Jan and his work. He accommodated my schedule and immediately quoted a fair price for my gutters. He knew what needed to be done, and did so on time.
Java Builders provided quality work and were professional throughout the process. Communication was clear, and Jon made sure to confirm details before moving forward, which I appreciated. The craftsmanship was solid, and the finished result matched what we discussed. They were punctual, organized, and respectful of the workspace. Overall, a reliable small business that delivers good results.
Very happy with the work. Took a long time to find someone welling to work on my third floor balcony. He was very flexible and welling to work around my schedule even on Sunday.
John is knowledgeable and does quality work. He doesn't cut corners and has a hard-working team.
Quality work at a fair price
John and Java were very responsive and helpful in the amount of time I needed for the project. He was agreeable, came out for a quote the same day I requested the project, and had the work done within a week. Will hire again!
Love my new closet.
John was precisely on time through all phases of the project and kept in touch by text so I'd know the status. He was on the job to ensure the project was executed properly. He listened to our ideas and provided his professional opinion. The work was finished on time and on budget.
They did great work matching their posts to the rest of the porch. They also cleaned the work site when finished.
They did a very good job, John arrived on time with his carpenter and began work immediately after unloading their materials and tools. Parts that were needed were made on the site and all the debris was cleaned up when the work was completed.
He came out the same day to assess our deck and gave me an informal inspection. While he gave a few options to repair the deck, He did not recommend any repairs and said the deck was in great shape, which was reassuring since there was nothing in it for him. Appreciated his insight and expertise.
Java Builders rebuilt the front porch, did repairs to the garage, painted the front door and put in new light fixtures for us plus a new other smaller jobs. We could not be happier! It gave the house such a wonderful facelift and we are so grateful!! Highly highly highly recommend! He started the job within 48 hours and was just fantastic to work with on this. Don’t hesitate in reaching out. Thank you!!!!
John started out good. But John refused to listen to my concerns about putting frame, insulation and dry way over plaster. This made the room smaller the door frame smaller where as it’s hard to move furniture through. This action also is making it hard to replace the covers over the radiators, and also the 2x4’s are in close proximity to the radiators, which has a fire potential! Even after I voice my concerns about the 2x4’s he proceeded to try to complete the room instead of working on the bathroom which was the agreement. He didn’t want to remove the plaster as I had requested. John also hid my keys on the property so his workers could enter the property, which was a security risk. He didn’t listen to my concerns about the security of my property or my concerns about the project. Once I terminated our contract he and his crew stole items from my house that didn’t belong to them. When I confronted him about it, and showed him pictures of the items being removed from my doorbell camera. He had nothing to say and didn’t return the items. I gave him a week to rectify. No go. I caution you about hiring him for any long term projects!
This team did a great job. Got in and executed Well. The gutters look great and the wide downspouts look like they can handle the next big downpour. Added aluminum facia to make the house look way better. I still have alot to do on my fixer upper home but this was a great start . Clean installation at a fair price . Thank you.
