Communication could definitely be improved, along with a more professional approach to handling customer inquiries. Clients should not be ignored simply for asking questions. If you are unable or unwilling to provide a service, it would be much more professional to communicate that upfront rather than stop responding. Clear and respectful communication goes a long way.

These movers moved my studio apartment and somehow managed to lose 4 boxes full of journals and photos from my entire life and expensive jewelery- a trash bin, a bathroom drawer compartment with 3 drawers full of stuff, a mop and bucket, they also stole or threw out the bolts to to my bed and a big part of my bed thatās nowhere to be found after disassembling it and I guess just decided to throw it out because of wear and tear? I have his texts admitting he threw them out because of alleged āwear and tearā due to his opinion when my bed was in perfect condition. He said he could come back with the correct bolts and fix my bed and instead decided to fully rehab my bed without telling me or asking- drilled the hell out of my bed and took off original nails, drilled into the wood and ruined my bed. I had to hire someone else to fix it and they couldnāt fully fix it because he said so many parts were missing and whoever did it previously did a horrible job. I canāt even believe this. Somehow the guy seems to remember plenty of details about my move but canāt seem to remember if he grabbed these items or left them or not or where they went. I was there packing and supervising the entire time and instructed them a million and a half times that everything in the apartment needed to go. But now he claims heās not responsible for any of it. Who tf hires movers to move ANYTHING by themselves???? Makes zero sense so they had to be stolen. Tried contacting him directly with zero resolution and is extremely defensive about simple questions and is extremely rude. Lost all of those journals and my jewelery and Iām literally heartbroken.

Jewelry Moving was amazing. They moved a baby grand piano with less than 24 hours notice from Chicago Old Town to the West Suburbs. They were on time and were great communicators. They were professional and are clearly very experienced with moving pianos. Highly recommend. Thank you guys so much!

Theyāre cool until you call them out on something they mess up on, they donāt take accountability. On the second time I hired them, they made a mess of the apartment, and I was charged $350 for carpet they destroyed when they tracked mud onto it. They didnāt even have to go into that roomāit was completely empty as I had moved everything that needed to be moved into the living room for them. They refused to cover the damage, even partially. Be careful with these guys. Pay attention to their negative reviews.
They showed up on time and got right to work, which I really appreciated. I did notice that the second man (I didnāt catch his name) was not moving at the same speed or efficiency as Alexey ā he was sort of meandering around initially, taking 1 small box at a time. My biggest complaint is that there was no sense of āletās put things in places that make sense.ā I noticed they started with the boxes and not furniture, which I didnāt think made a difference initially. But they put just about all the boxes in my bedroom, leaving tons of dead space they didnāt utilize. They put nothing in the closet in that room. Nothing. Why would they leave all this empty space in the middle of my bedroom, and stack my living room like this? Canāt access the bathroomā¦my mattress is in the kitchen??? They took the drawers out it of the dresser that was empty and couldnāt even put them back in. Just tossed them anywhere. I already moved to a much smaller space, and I had to spend another day simply moving things out of the unit so I can at least set up a bed to sleep ā I couldnāt sleep here my first or second night. I have a sofa that they had to try to take down twice because of the angular walls of the space. However they were like giving attitude and acting like they didnāt want to do it ā like they were doing me a favor and not being paid to move items. I essentially had to tell them this has to go. Like Iām MOVING for them to give it another shot. I really didnāt like that. They also dragged the sofa and didnāt use furniture pads or blankets. Didnāt understand that, either. Iām surprised because they have a high rating and generally positive reviews but my experience was just okay. And barely okay at that. It just felt like they thought it would be an āeasyā job and rushed through helping me move. After paying close to $300, this shouldnāt be what Iām left with. Literally just put things anywhere. Very disappointing and unprofessional honestly.
Crew arrived on time and were great to work with, had to get new hot tub to the backyard. They were careful and helped unpack and set up. Very good service too as they were called on short notice and came through.
We had to the movers on 3/31. The movers were great and helpful. However, our meeting time was supposed to be at 1pm. The manager texted us his truck got a fat tire and pushed back to 3-4pm. My husband was worried about the weather, we got a weather warning for thunderstorms/heavily rain in our area. The manager said will be free after 2 pm. Finally, receive a call, said they will be here by 4 pm. And after loaded our stuff in a truck, it started pouring down, the movers had to unload our stuff in a rain plus my husband had to help them carry all our stuff inside. Asked the manager what he would do to help us in the situation? He told us to wait until the rain stop and still charging us for waiting time or moving in a rain! We were aware of the rain at the beginning even mentioned it with the manager. The manager said ādo not worry about the weatherā and now our couch and other stuff were completely wet from the rain. I donāt know what to say but I wish they couldāve at least covered our furniture with some plastic or be more professional with helping us since this is not our original deal to have them come 3 hours after our appointment. I would say this team is professional packing, wrapping , loading and unloading. They were fast but cannot solve problems when it comes to the weather as the manager informed us do not worry about the weather!
