About Joy Murphy Yoga
Thank you for visiting my profile! Original California girl here who spent 2 years out of state in Oklahoma. I was born in Costa Mesa, grew up in Laguna Hills, moved to East LA for high school and San Diego for college. Go Aztecs! Recently moved to Temecula and am looking to build my private practice here through Thumbtack. My sessions are fully customizable and cater to the individuals in front of me because, let's face it.... We're all built differently and there should not be a one size fits all method when it comes to something like yoga. Mobile Yoga Instructor Private, Semi Private, Group, Corporate Wellness. From yoga parties, restorative and prenatal! 10+ years of group fitness experience and a Certified Yoga Teacher. Even if you’re new to yoga, I can provide world class, easy to follow instruction. Specializing in servicing those seeking to increase mobility, flexibility, strength and balance. I teach sustainable yoga practices and relaxation techniques (think calming the vagus nerve) because I believe that yoga should be a stress releaser and mood booster. Every session is unique to an individual’s specific needs and goals. For more reviews and testimonials, visit my Google Biz Page Mjoy Yoga Offering virtual and sessions IRL. Discounts provided if multiple sessions are booked in advance!

Joy lead poolside yoga for my sister’s bachelorette party for a group of 11 gals. Everyone loved it and Joy was so fun and professional. Thank you so much!
Couldn’t recommend more! We had the best class with 16 girls she brought mats for everyone. We loved joy!!!
My group experience was exceptional! She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She also took her time with the newbies. I was very comfortable with her and would love to work with her again!
Joy was a pleasure to work with! Very responsive, accommodating, arrived early to set up, and her yoga session was amazing! I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
Joy lead the most beautiful practice for my friends and I during our recent girls trip. She was able to modify based on all of our individual needs and skill level. She is such a beautiful soul and we cannot wait for our next trip so we can book her again!
Joy is fantastic - don’t hesitate to hire her. She is skilled at adapting yoga forms to each individuals body needs. She listens to where you’re at, checks in & helps you gain confidence in your forms. I hired Joy for 3 individual private yoga lessons while in town in Palm Springs. I wish she lived closer so that I could continue to learn & practice with her!
Joy was incredible in the whole consulting process about whether we could work together. I am postponing my work with her as I am travelling internationally soon but am so impressed by how clear and professional she was about her services. Her transparency and compassion was pretty amazing. I look forward to working with her upon my return. Six stars!
