Working with Juan was easy and his team did an amazing job. Our project included replacing our weed covered yard with Astro turf that is pet and kid friendly, removing old plants and weeds, adding rocks to perimeter of our yard and enclosing space under our deck. They delivered what we asked for and did so in a quick and efficient timeframe. I unfortunately don’t have before pictures but it has totally transformed and upgraded our space. We highly recommend Juan for all Your landscaping needs!
Juan was very professional on the phone, but the work was incomplete. Even though the scope of the work was detailed in a text with an agreed upon price, when I asked why the job was not finished, he tried to say he didn't agree to do the whole job.
Juan and his crew were efficient, professional, and turned our sad, dead lawn into a serene, drought-tolerant, desert plantscape. The neighbors are as happy as we are.

Juan's crew did an excellent job putting in a small retaining wall and planting a tree in our backyard. We had a slope that was too difficult to manage trimming our rose bushes so we wanted something low maintenance. Juan's team took out the rose bushes, built a retaining wall and directed a drip system to the crape myrtle. The price was reasonable and we are super pleased with the result. Mark A. Livermore
I am very pleased with the work Juan and his crew did for me. From the beginning Juan was professional, stayed in contact, and responded to any questions that I had. He quoted me a reasonable price from the start and was able to adjust the price fairly as we made some changes. He was punctual for my quote and punctual when it was time to start the project. Overall I am very happy with my decision to work with Juan and will not hesitate to call him again for our next project.
Juan and his crew were amazing! Juan worked with me to keep the project in my budget. Him and his crew were very punctual, speedy, and got a lot done during the project in a very short amount of time, despite being a large project. Even after running into a minor issue, Juan was great at figuring out the problem, and quickly fixed it. Amazing work and will definitely use them again when it comes time to work on my front yard project. Highly recommended! I hired this compaby to install drainage in my yard. Paid $5k+ They put the drainage in, all while yelling at each other. Anyway, they finish and a few weeks later, the backfill sinks because they didn't compact it properly. I called Juan to give him a chance to make it right. It's a small cheap work, I'm hoping it's an quick fix for him to add some dirt, compact and make it right. He tells me he will come on a day we agree. I take the day off, wait for him and he doesn't show up. I ask when he is coming. He calls me and tells me "he is a very busy man" and asks to come next week. Again, I say ok. Then he asks me if drainage works, I say yes. He tells me that his warranty is the french drain itself and not the earthwork and i need to pay for dirt. I explain to him good workmanship and material warranty is a part of work and implied in all CA contracts as I am in construction myself. He then tells me he will come on Friday. I take Friday off to meet him. 15.30 on Friday I text him to see if he is coming. He tells me "thanks for reminding me, I completely forgot". I ask what's the time of arrival, because I need to get my kid from school. He first says 15mins, then says 30mins. Then calls me to say he is just leaving and can't tell when he will be there. And repeats that he forgot to come. At this point I'm done, enough time wasted. Bottom line is, poor workmanship, terrible work ethic and punctuation, constant lies, with high prices. Waste of time and poor quality.
He was willing to come back 2 times to amend and complete the job due to miscommunication we had from the start. All ended very well. His crew are all very nice, professional and competent.
Juan was so great! After inquiring he was able to make it out the next day for my quote. The cost was way less than the other guys and him and his crew came out on Wednesday and had the turf completely installed before noon on Thursday. I was so impressed with the efficiency and quality of the work. I was thrilled from start to finish, and it looks amazing! I highly recommend Juan! Before and after pics attached.

I decided to replace ground cover in my front yard with sod and sprinklers. I chose J R LANDSCAPING because I really liked the owner. He was more expensive than the others, but I trusted him and his company. After making several failed applications to my HOA for the change in my front yard, I was finally approved after submitting a very detailed report. JUAN, was very patient with this process. After the HOA approved my changes, JUAN and his team came to my house one morning, removed the drip system pipes, and installed all of the sprinkler pipe and sod. I think he did an excellent job and my neighbors tell me how nice it now looks. All in all, I am really happy with the job that J R LANDSCAPING did for me. I have some problems with the remaining drip system for my bushes, but I can handle that small problem on my own.
In 3 days they redid both yards! Juan and his crew of JR Landscape took out moss dead lawns, treated soil, rototilled, put topsoil in, laid sod, put in new rock areas, and put in new sprinklers and valves! Discussed changes we made after start due to slopes. Very responsive, quality work. After & before. Highly recommend you call JR first!
