Forrest was a fantastic carpenter to work with. We felt as though he really understood our vision from his first consultation. He was great about talking us through his process, and exceeded our expectations! He matched our mantle perfectly when building two custom shelves, mounted the wood veneer hub sheets, and mounted our tv.

Couldn’t recommend more!!! Incredible quality and got our vision perfectly. Hope to work with Forrest again on a project soon.
Could not recommend Forrest enough. He is so kind and knowledgeable about what he does. The measurements I gave him for the topper on our ikea shoe cabinet were too tight (our wall has subtle curves), so I asked him to cut a new piece vs try to make the old piece work and it has made our shoe cabinet look SO custom. He chose the perfect type of wood to fit our home. We get sooo many compliments on it. Hire him!!
Forrest was awesome to work with and I highly recommend him. We had a project to put wainscoting on an accent wall and paint an office - he did excellent work. He was very communicative, provided a fair estimate (with no changes to it at any point), and got the job done in the time he said he would. The white walls are what we started with then ended with the navy finishes - I would definitely hire him again
I hired Kelly Improvements to hang a kitchen cabinet for me that another pro and his worker tried to but unfortunately couldn’t do . Forrest did a fabulous job. The only cabinet that he was supposed to fix was the cabinet to the left (2doors) the cabinet to the right is separate. Forrest took his time, brought the cabinets down . He found the studs, put the cabinets back up and fused them together. High quality craftsmanship I have a few other jobs for him to do . His communication was clear timely and professional. Which made the entire process smooth and stress free.
Had a great experience multiple times with Kelly improvements. The work was affordable and professional. Definitely will hire again!
Forest did a great job and got it done in the time he said. Excited to work with him again.
Forrest did a fantastic job in our place. His quality of work is exceptional. Working with him was easy, he was very responsive and kept us informed of his progress. He is trustworthy, he worked in our place while we were out of town. We had a vision for our divider wall and he gave us exactly what we had in mind. Forrest is exactly the carpenter we were looking for.
Forest did an excellent job at installing a new door for our kitchen area. The project was complex and required the installation of new drywall to add a door where one did not exist previously. Forest is an expert carpenter and did a fantastic job. He was also subsequently hired to stain our deck and did a great job with that as well. Highly recommend.
Forrest did an awesome job building out some floating shelves for us! We told him exactly what we were looking for and he delivered. It’s clear he does quality work and he managed to wrap up the project in 2 days as we were working on a tighter timeline.
Forrest created custom shelving for our living room. I appreciated his advice on wood types and styling. He was very efficient and completed the project within 2 days. Would happily have him for another of our projects!
I asked Forrest to shorten some pre-fabricated shelves as a part of a purchased shelving unit. He did a great job shortening the shelves and ensuring they'd fit the metal frame and space they were going into. Very responsive and the quality of work was high.
Forrest worked efficiently and did quality work. I appreciated that he cleaned up everything after he was done.
Forrest helped us install and retro fit our Murphy Bed we brought with us from a previous place. This involved cutting into our baseboards for a perfect built in look. He helped us properly anchor and stabilize the unit and even was able to fix a previous problem with the bed closing that we had just lived with for years. He’s the ultimate professional - problem solving in the moment and patient with our requests. We’ll be sharing his contact info with our whole building for future projects!
Kelly Improvements did an excellent job on our project all around. Very skilled, smart and easy to work with. Thank you!
