He needs to listen to the customer about what they want and need. Don't suggest other things when that was not the purpose of hire. I needed help with weeding because I am pregnant and it's too hard for me right now and I got no help with that. All of the weeds are still around my roses/walk way planter areas, cut my roses without asking, removed some of my fence without asking (I don't care that it was broken), cut off one of my lemon branches that was growing a lemon at the end (honestly pissed about that, he didn't even ask), and spent way to much time trimming a bush I didn't need work on. All I wanted was help with weeding and I did not recieve the help I needed.

It was great having Kevin complete our lighting project. He understood our budget and tried to minimize costs. Near the end of our project he expected to finish within a certain time but due to unexpected challenges in the project itself, he ended up going over the time to finish; however, he honored what he initially proposed in terms of expected time and billing. I also like how he catches outside issues outside of the project and gives DIY tips on how they can be resolved or easily fixed. We are happy with the quality of work he performed and would hire him again in the future.

Friendly and polite. Good communicator and takes pride in his work. Helped with some carpentry trim / drywall taping work in and some door hardware changes work in my apartment. I will definitely use Kevin’s help for the next project.

Kevin is a kind guy, but the work he did planting our trees was not well done. We asked for 7 trees to be planted - and specified that we needed with holes dug 2x wide, filled with new soil, and gopher wire. He did not do this. Instead: - the holes for all 7 trees were dug 2-4 inches wider than the root ball. - only 1 tree was given new soil (we purchased extra bags of soil for this and pointed them out to Kevin, but he did not use them) - only 2 trees were planted with gopher wire. We are currently replanting all 7 trees. The avocado started to die because it was surrounded by clay instead of enough new soil, and there were a lot of air pockets. Kevin said it was normal for the tree to lose all leaves and come back next year...but that didn’t seem right. Poor tree. We’ve replanted it with a hole twice as wide as the root ball, new soil, and leaves have stopped dropping. New buds are forming. Super thankful. This has been very frustrating.We paid $400 dollars across 2 visits, and have to re-do the work - the right way. We will not work with Kevin again or recommend his services.

Kevin helped me bring my shelf vision to life by mounting a TV and installing an Elfa shelving unit. He made suggestions to make it more sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, even sawing off excess ends of the rods. 10/10 would hire again!
