No show for an estimate. Waste of my time which I do not appreciate. Do not bother using them.
This was company was excellent. Arrived on time, job done excellent, and excellent customer service. They cleaned up each day and keep me updated step by step. I will be using this company for upcoming projects. Hire this company. You won't regret it. Thanks Guys!
I greatly appreciate the Kin Insulation Inc. team, very professional, great work for an amazing value. I needed my bi-level home insulated because both levels were extremely hot even with the AC on 68° and ran all day. I got a quote for several options from Kin Insulation and walked me through the whole process from beginning to end. The next day after the insulation my home is now cool at 75° and only runs a few times during the day depending on weather and if we have the blinds open. I will definitely use them at my other properties in the future.
On time, honest about estimates and associated risks, professional and courteous.
Kin was very optimistic and generous, very professional and outstanding, i had some uneven temperatures around the house but im starting to notice the difference, and hopefully the energy bill will be lower 😂 i appreciate the company for their tips and pointers for better home effeicny, i highly recommend this company!
I chose this contractor because they represented that they could professionally complete an Epodex microcement finish. Their written contract specifically promised to: • Sand the existing microcement to create a smooth and uniform surface. • Repair minor imperfections. • Apply one additional finish coat. • Ensure a consistent, high-quality decorative finish. Unfortunately, the finished work shown in these photographs does not reflect those contractual promises. Instead of a smooth, uniform decorative finish, the completed bathroom contained: Visible trowel ridges and lap marks. Uneven texture throughout the walls. Depressions and low spots that remain visible after the finish coat. White/cloudy areas after the sealer was applied. Drips and runs near the tub. Inconsistent sheen and color from wall to wall. Surface imperfections that remained visible despite the contract stating they would be repaired. The attached photos are of the bathroom immediately after the contractor completed the work. When I raised these concerns, I was told additional sanding and finishing would be required. Rather than receiving the completed product described in the contract, I was left with a bathroom requiring significant corrective work. The contract states that the remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. Because I did not believe the project had been completed in accordance with the written scope of work, I disputed the remaining balance. The contractor has since sent a formal demand letter seeking approximately $900. That dispute will be resolved through the legal process. I encourage anyone considering this company to read the contract carefully, inspect the work thoroughly before final payment, and document everything with photographs. The photographs attached to this review accurately show the condition of the bathroom after the contractor's work.
I had problems with my electricity bill being way too high for months over time and contacted 5 contractors and they gave me the best price. I highly recommend them if you want your electricity bill to decrease by around 30%!.
They might be good at insulation, but I would not use them again for interior painting, nor would I recommend them. Generally just a sloppy job, couldn't get all their guys to show up to work so it took longer than expected. I have a ton of touch up work to do myself.
