KO Remodeling did amazing cabinetry work and repair at our home in bellflower. We were quoted a muxh higher prices by other vendors but KO came in with an extremely fair price, arrived on time, and completed all the work within the time quoted. Would recommend and I’m keeping their info handy for future work.
We needed some repairs done on our bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Kevin was very responsive and easy to communicate with via text. He was on time, listened to our needs, and communicated well on his progress. The repairs done on our cabinets were exactly what we wanted. His pricing was also fair. Kevin also helped us with other repairs around the house. Would use his services again.
Kevin was the only pro that responded to my request. Most would not take on “smaller” jobs. Glad Kevin did. He was punctual and was immediately available!
Kevin was fantastic to work with. From the beginning, he was upfront about what it would take to repair my cabinet and provided a realistic cost range based on the photos I sent. It took us a little while to find a date that worked for both of us, but he was always communicative throughout the process. Once we scheduled the appointment, he confirmed the date and followed up again the day before, which I really appreciated. When he arrived with his dad, they fixed the cabinet quickly and efficiently, answered all of my questions, and the final price came in right in the middle of the estimate he originally provided. I’m extremely happy with the work and the overall experience. Kevin will definitely be my first call for any cabinet work in the future. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend KO Remodeling. We worked with Kevin on installing some additional cabinets, and he kept in touch with us while we had delays getting the glass installed. Once that was completed, he showed up promptly the next day and installed the cabinets. He carefully removed the old cove molding and reinstalled it since we couldn't find a matching replacement. He adjusted the doors, touched up the paint and left the job site spotless. Work was done on time and on budget. We are planning on using KO Remodeling when we remodel our bathrooms in the near future.
Kevin is professional, knowledgable and very clean. He will tell you what is possible and he can pretty much make anything you’re looking to build or do happen. I can’t speak highly enough of him. I was in a pinch needing a desk that I designed for my home office, to be built asap. He made it happen the next day. I did already buy the wood and have it cut, but he fixed my design and made the process seamless. 10/10 vouch for this guy. Will be hiring him again
I would highly recommend KO remodeling. Excellent quality job! Evaluated my situation to move an entire ancient cabinet so we can move a larger refrigerator through a small space. They were able to move the entire cabinet and the re-install it securely after we added the new fridge. Everything looked great. Exactly how I wanted it handled. So glad I went with them!
Kevin did an incredible job on our kitchen cabinets. We had this old oak color from the early 90’s and all kinds of blemishes in the wood. Kevin fixed them all, built us new drawer boxes with soft-close hardware , and painted our cabinets the color we requested. Kevin is kind, responsive and does superb work. I highly recommend.
3/13/26- This is an update in response to KO Remodeling with photos of 4 incomplete doors. Kevin. Thank you for your response. To clarify a few points for accuracy, we repeatedly requested that you come out to assess the doors in person before starting the project. Had the doors been physically evaluated instead of relying only on photos, it likely would have been clear from the beginning whether the work could reasonably be completed within the two-day timeline we discussed. If the timeline was not feasible, we would have appreciated that being clearly communicated before the job was accepted or not accept the job. We were also very clear that the doors were solid wood and that we specifically wanted stain applied rather than paint in order to preserve the original finish and allow flexibility for future refinishing. After the project was left incomplete, another contractor assessed the doors and informed us that paint had been applied to portions of the doors and that the workmanship would need to be corrected. Additionally, the offer to return for a third day at no charge was not presented to us in the way described above. Had that option been clearly offered at the time, we would have been open to discussing it. Ultimately, we paid $800 toward the $1,100 quote, but the project was not completed and required another contractor to correct and finish the work. Please see attached photos of KO Remodeling's sand, stain and lacquer/shine finish project. All 4 doors were left incomplete. Kevin was hired to refinish 4 doors using stain (not paint), which we discussed clearly in advance. We also made it clear the project needed to be completed within two days due to other scheduled work. Unfortunately, the project was not completed within the agreed timeline and was left unfinished. After bringing in another contractor to assess the work, we were informed that paint had been used on part of the doors rather than stain, and that portions of the workmanship needed to be corrected. As a result, we had to hire another professional to redo the work, which was completed in one day but at additional cost. Kevin was paid $800 of the $1,100 requested, despite the project not being completed.
3/2026 After seeing the response, I am a bit disappointed in the lack of truthful information. This comes off as unprofessional instead of trying to offer a fair solution for the error. The one color we chose was for both the drawers and the laminate backing. I'm not sure if this was the error of the contractor or the company, but we ended up getting 2 different shades of white (1 for the drawers and 1 for the backing). At the time, Kevin apologized and offered to install golden handles instead. However, we declined this offer as it wouldn't match up with our appliances. Knowing that we would be charged extra to have the color corrected, instead of getting a partial refund (it wasn't an option), we decided to stick to the 2 shades. 2/2026 We had Kevin who refinished our cabinets. He was punctual and got the job done. I feel like the initial inspection of our kitchen was rushed as we ended up ordering doors that were the wrong color or sizing. We ended up not being able to install one door which would’ve been avoided if our initial consult and inspection was thorough. As a result, we spent a bit more than what was needed, the color is a little off, and we weren’t offered a partial refund. Kevin at least fixed what he could and worked with us through the process.
Originally scheduled work for a Thursday, then he asked to change it to Wednesday and I confirmed. Then, he says on Wednesday morning that he booked the time with someone else and wanted to keep the Thursday appointment. Ok, fine. Thursday comes around and he’s a no show and doesn’t answer his messages.
Kevin is a very special young man. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Kevin is now my "go-to" handyman for all my jobs. I highly recommend him. I give him 5++++++
Kevin was terrific. We needed someone to repair our kitchen island where water damage had warped and damaged several panels. He responded immediately with a reasonable quote, appeared on time, did the work efficiently, and left the cabinetry looking new. Highly recommend.
