I had a great experience with Ruben and his team! I initially reached out for a small ceiling repair, and Ruben responded quickly and stopped by the next day to provide a quote. While he was here, he asked if there was anything else around the house that needed to be addressed, and the laundry list followed! From ceiling fixtures to a toilet replacement and a few other projects, Ruben and his team were able to take care of my initial repair along with the other things that had been piling up over the years because I didn’t have a trusted go-to for home repairs. The entire team was friendly, professional, and efficient, and they left my home incredibly clean when they were finished. I would 100% recommend Ruben and his team and will definitely be using them again in the future. It’s such a relief to finally have a trusted go-to home repair team!

The drywall, patching, and painting work that Lakehill Remodeling did in my bathroom was great! Some drywall on teh ceiling had to be replaced as well as repairing an old leak from a skylight. They also painted the entire room. All of this was done in one day! They were responsive and very communicative from the start, and the work was professional and quick. I would recommend them highly.
Ruben and team have done several remodeling projects for us now, and we’re about to kick off the next one with them! They’ve quickly become our go-to contractor — Ruben is a great guy to work with, easy communication, prices work fairly, and the crew is kind, respectful, and excellent at their trades. We’ve worked with several other contractors here in Austin with mixed experiences, but I’ve only got positive things to say about Lakehill — highly recommended.
I did not choose them but you gave me no options.
I am very pleased with the job. Ruben came out with 48 hours to look at adding onto my my boathouse closet. After talking with him, he was able to provide me an estimate within 24 hours. His price was competitive to the other 2 estimates. One was higher, and one was lower. Felt skeptical about the one lower quote. Ruben gave me a start date and said it should take 2 days. He and his crew showed up when they said and finished on schedule. The site was left clean, and the project was done top-notch. Definitely will use them again. Now, all I need to do is paint it.
We hired them to build an additional room on our small home. The project involved demoing an old patio, and adding a new room over the demolished space. They fixed any existing issues with the home, and gave us the space of our dreams in exactly the time they estimated! The work was done efficiently, the price was excellent, there was little to no disruption to our lives, and they respected all my concerns about the logistics of the addition. They were responsive to all my communications, and protected our house from inclement weather multiple times! Ruben and Martin did a great job, hire these guys!
This company from start to finish was very professional. They also made sure that I understood everything that was going and they paid attention to every aspect of the job. I am totally satisfied with their workmanship and how amazing all their employees were. I will going to this company with future home improvements.
I submitted the request through Thumbtack late Sunday, received several calls the next day. Took a few quotes. Hired Ruben on Tuesday and the deck was built by his outstanding team by end of day Wednesday. Blew my mind! Looks awesome and now can’t wait to get started on planning the pergola!
