Absolutely great - I had a difficult lighting repair job (literally multiple people turned me down), but they handled quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price.
I set an appointment, but no call, no show, and I had to call them to ask about the status. In addition, they didn’t provide we with their Texas license and insurance information as I requested.
The crew from Laymance did a great job for me. They arranged the pick up and delivery of my Italian hand blown glass chandelier and sconces, changed the wiring to fit the sconces on each side of my gold mirror in the dining room,and reassembled the s onces and chandelier. The contractor who removed the chandelier originally left half of the chain and the hook in my high ceiling, which I only learned when Laymance went to hang the chandelier. The Laymance crew went out and found a close match to the chain and a heavy hook the same day and had the chandelier hung and reassembled all in the same day! They were very nice, efficient, and professionally skilled. I was happy with their work and their communication during the entire process, which was 3 days from chandelier delivery to finish, including changing wiring to fit movement of lights. Dinna Rains
Extremely overpriced. I received quotes of about $150 from several other electricians for the exact same job, while this company quoted around $500. They also wouldn’t give me a simple direct answer when I asked for the total price, instead sending long, generic responses. The lack of transparency and the huge price difference made me look elsewhere. I would not recommend them.
Prompt arrival . Explained pricing and what he needed to do. Was very straightforward. Gave estimated and paid through Thumbtack. That was a first for me but I have no issue with that. Everything is working fine and I will use this company again if needed.
