About Legend 88 Studio
I am passionate about crafting the perfect musical setting for your event. My qualifications include: 1. A Bachelor of Arts in Church Piano 2. Over a decade of experience teaching lessons 3. The Music Pastor at Capitol City Baptist Church for 10 years 4. Substantial experience in song-writing, many great opportunities as wedding/event pianist, trained in Ukraine under Yurii Abramenko, arranged and composed many soundtracks and theme music I am also passionate about teaching any age piano! I focus on the entire musical training (not just checking off pages from a book); I believe strongly that piano should be FUN, and you should be able to play the music that YOU are interested in!
Reviews
Joel is very knowledgable, answers any questions I have, has given me additional resources to help.
My 16 yr old really enjoys his lessons with Joel!! We’re excited to be working with such a great teacher!
Joel is always ready to go with a lesson that’s been prepared just for me! His enthusiasm and love for piano is infectious! I am so happy I decided to pick up piano lessons with Joel!
He has a lot of knowledge when it comes to piano and explains the intricacies of the piece of music you're playing and what finger you should use to prepare for the next measure. I couldn't recommend another teacher for piano.
Both of my children (ages 6 and 8) are enjoying lessons. They are learning new concepts every week and look forward to continuing to learn.
Fantastic experience thus far. Joel was/is extremely flexible with scheduling lessons based off my hectic schedule. He is very pleasant to work with and clearly cares about his student’s progress. What makes him unique is his ability to determine what your individual goals are and create a custom plan with a clear outline and strategy on how we will achieve them. He listens carefully and adapts lesson to ensure maximum benefit and enjoyability. His instructions are clear and always helpful. As an adult learner, I appreciate his willingness to explain his methodology clearly to me and his ability to adapt his approach to suit my personal preferences and style. Highly recommend. I look forward to my lessons and can’t wait for the results to start showing soon!
