I hired the company to clean my heating unit and the air ducts. The site manager was polite and talked a good talk. After he left the 2 men that worked on the project were also polite and what they sounded good. When they were nearly finished I asked about cleaning the area behind the registers where I saw debris. One of the men cleaned behind one of the registers and put it back on. I realized how old and rusted they all were and saw a lot of debris in that area. I went outside to talk to my sister, when I returned inside he said the fogger was broken and was spraying the chemical in the old register. He said it made a fine mist that would do the same job..... then left. That night I checked and only the one register had been removed and vac'ed out. When I removed the other registers it was really gross in all of them and the vents were closed so no spray would of gone anywhere in the duct work, as if a spray bottle would actually spray enough to circulate in the whole system. I was disappointed that I had to finish the job myself. I heard another company actually cleaned the registers and replaced them as part of the service they gave. I will not use thumbtack again to find someone to hire. I will ask others for a personal reference in the future.
