I requested a minor task to be done and this “pro” insisted on charging me more to take my fridge apart to see what the issue is when that is not I asked for. In what day and age will service providers learn you are providing a service please service us with what we request otherwise don’t offer the service

Mike was, without question, the most disappointing service provider I have ever hired. I contacted him on May 25 to replace the front glass on a GE stove and made it clear from the outset that I had a strict deadline because my lease ended on June 4. He visited on May 27, spent approximately five minutes inspecting the stove, charged me $49, and immediately began explaining how difficult the job would be. Instead of offering solutions, he suggested I look for replacement ovens on Facebook Marketplace. This was not the confidence or professionalism I expected from someone advertising appliance repair services. Despite my reservations, I hired him after he assured me the repair would be completed by Tuesday or Wednesday (2nd or 3rd June). He quoted $450 for the repair, an amount I considered extremely high for the work involved. Unfortunately, after taking the job, communication became a constant struggle. Calls and messages were met with vague responses, delays, or no meaningful updates at all. On June 4, the very day I needed the repair completed, he sent a series of uninformative screenshots claiming that USPS had delayed the part shipment. The screenshots contained no clear order information, tracking details, or anything that would allow me to verify the claim. Yet that same morning, he pressured me to postpone turning in my keys so he could finish the job. Ultimately, with the help of a friend, I found a complete used oven door for $100 and replaced it myself with minimal effort. The solution that Mike portrayed as extremely difficult ended up being straightforward and inexpensive. My experience was marked by poor communication, missed commitments, lack of transparency, and an attitude that came across as dismissive and arrogant. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend his services. If reliability, professionalism, and honest communication are important to you, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
Great response to complete time. Family is especially grateful to have a working dryer in time for holidays. Plus he guaranteed work/price for 3 months. Mike is awesome!!
Do not raise your voice to customers because you're tired of frustrated because you created more problems for the customers then they had before you came you came to fix my washer and now I have a drainage problem that I didn't have before you came and I still can't wash 300 wasted and I still have to pay someone to come fix what you mess up my sinks stop draining I call you back you said not your fault but I didn't have this problem before you work in my house now you're saying I need plumber but I didn't need one before I had no issues until you work in my house
