They dismantled and wrapped my furniture and fragile items meticulously, ensuring nothing was damaged in transit. Upon arrival, they reassembled everything perfectly, making the entire process seamless. Though the move took time, they remained committed and handled everything with professionalism. Completely Unreliable – A Total Disaster I had an emergency move today and reached out through Thumbtack. Randi from Local Moving Experts and Storage in Fort Lauderdale was the first to respond. After reviewing the cost and options for the move, he asked for a $75 deposit — but provided no paperwork, no written estimate, nothing in writing showing how that deposit would be applied. I asked multiple times for a proper estimate or invoice, and he kept saying he’d send it. He never did. This morning, he confirmed he’d be at my place at 1:30 PM. That time came and went — and he never showed up. No call. No text. No response. I followed up multiple times and was completely ignored. It’s now 9:30 PM and I’m sitting outside my storage unit in Miami with none of my belongings. I’m now facing a potential $20,000 loss, all because this so-called “professional” ghosted me on the most important moving day I’ve ever had. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. Randi and this company should be removed from Thumbtack’s network immediately. Thumbtack needs to take responsibility for the vendors they promote, and I expect to be compensated for today’s disaster. Avoid this company at all
Randy and his team are awesome! Moving is never easy but Randy made it smoother than any I have experienced in the past. We highly recommend them. Took immense care of all our fragile items and then unpacked everything at our new house.

Truly great movers. We had to move furniture from two locations to our home. They arrived on time and completed the job efficiently. They helped us to arrange the furniture and was respectful of our property. Would highly recommend and use them again.
Do not. I repeat DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH THESE PEOPLE. I paid the deposit of $50, someone told me "see you then!" And then they completely bailed on me the DAY OF!! saying we were never put in their system...so now I'm literally just sitting here SCREWED. 10star Rating. Team here at Rk are very professional. Arrives early and careful with moving all belongings. Went above and beyond to help out my difficult situation with the Downtown Miami building rules. Also pricing is very fair and was catered to my specific needs. Definitely give them a try if you are moving.
