Eric displayed himself as a professional and was very accommodating at the time. He finished the work, we paid the bill and all seemed well. A few days later, we found that the rekeying failed on one of our doors. He came over and looked at it and stated that the doorknob was not good. My question was if the doorknob was bad, why did you put a cylinder in it and rekey it. Then he proceeded to try to offer to fix it for another $279 or I could put in a new panic bar. I declined both offers and he left. I received a text that he needed to charge me $$69 for the service call. After paying $1100 to have 3 doors rekeyed, I did not want to incur anymore costs. When he rekeyed the door, he should have seen that the knob was not good. The service call cost should have been absorbed by him because when you do a job you guarantee that it will last more than a few days. If you have to return to fix it, you shouldn't charge the customer a service call. And you should definitely not try to sell the customer something else. Tough lesson learned by us.

Absolutely — polished, without just repeating your wording: Eric was excellent from start to finish. He responded promptly to my Thumbtack request and was able to come out the same day. He was professional, knowledgeable, and completely low-pressure. He installed a new keyless entry system on my metal front door and came fully prepared with the tools and materials needed to handle the installation. He delivered exactly what he promised and made the entire process easy. I highly recommend Locksmith Essayons.
Eric was great he explained so well and made the experience a breeze. He installed two smart locks and explained to me how to use them.
Eric was wonderful. He was super responsive and patient in explaining everything to me when it came to installing new hardware and rekeying all locks. He was diligent and clean. He explained everything every step of the way and did a walk through at the end. We would use Eric again for all locksmith needs in the future!
Eric was prompt, kind and professional. My front door had a broken lock. He was here within the hour and replaced it with a smartlock I purchased. Great 👍 service and I will call again for any future needs.
Eric is a great handyman, he is very professional, accurate and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend
Eric is very professional patient and excellent at what he does. I highly recommend his services.
Eric was the first to call me. He arrived around 10:30 am when I put in the urgent request around 8:30. He was professional, very knowledgeable and practical with his decision making. Not only did he fix the problem he fixed another door which also needed some tender loving care. I would 1000% recommend him
Eric did a great job and went above and beyond our expectations. Our front door deadbolt was sticking/unable to close without extra effort, and he was able to repair it so it opens and closes flawlessly. On another door, the knob had deteriorated to a state of un-usability, and the deadbolt was also in rough shape. He replaced the doorknob, took out the deadbolt and covered the hole with an aesthetic plate, and installed a new deadbolt higher on the door. We couldn't be happier with the work, and would highly recommend.
