I love teaching people how to sing. Every voice is unique and my 25 years of experience molding and shaping voices has enabled me to refine voices very quickly. I’ve performed worldwide, singing in bands, theater and in the recording studio. My training in all genres of music will assist you with your specific style. In a lesson I will do a quick diagnosis of your voice and give you personalized vocal exercises that will fit your vocal needs. We will work on bridging your voice for vocal health and ease. Working balanced bridging from chest voice to head voice, with an emphasis on mixing the two resisters together. Then we will apply the technique to your specific style of singing.

I’ve only had a few lessons with Lori so far but she’s such a great value. She offered an hour but said I really only needed 30 minutes once a week and was really focused on ensuring I had the learning materials to reinforce what I learned in the lessons (recording of our lesson, music games on an app, recordings of scales for me to practice with) on my own. I’ve been thrilled with how much I’ve progressed in such a short time and I have been able to learn on my own.
Lori always helps me with any questions I may have about singing! she also makes advanced and targeted singing practice lessons for all, and is very kind and accommodating! Definitely would recommend for anyone trying to learn to sing!
Lori helped me quickly get on track to where I wanted to be. And don't skip on doing her excersises!! They absolutely help no matter how simple they can be. The "straw method" is freaking me out with how much it helps lol. She specializes them to my voice specifically and was very quick at getting to what needs most improvement right away. After about 4 lessons I've gained the confidence to really soon start finding out who I am as a singer and exploring a whole new world through singing.
Lori helped me get ready to audition for The Voice, I couldn't have asked for a better vocal coach!! She was able to help me break some bad singing habbits and really make the audition songs as good as they could be!
I have been taking bi-weekly lessons with Lori for about 4 months at this point. I went to her as the lead vocalist of a rock band who wrote some ambitious vocal parts that were clearly outside the ability of my untrained voice. Within just a few lessons, my bandmates made note of my vast improvement. Lori is excellent at listening for the flaws in your technique as you train and gives the proper direction you need to get over the roadblocks. I would recommend her for any of you full-blown adults looking for a solid vocal coach.
My first session was today and I loved her. She told me exactly what I needed to work on. She also has confidence in my voice that I did not have and didnt think anyone else had. Very nice, personable, and overall a great experience. I even scheduled further appointments!
