We had a great experience with Lou’s Lawn Care! We had a pool built so our entire yard got destroyed, and they did great landscaping with rock around the pool, and sodded the rest of the yard. Highly recommend! Also the most affordable quote we were given out of the companies we reached out to!

never used Thumbtack before. I just wanted a one time service. I elected the option for 1 time service in the app. 5 out of 6 lawn service companies said the don't do 1 time service even tough that was the servce i selected. they tried to up sell me. It was extremely annoying and frustrating. then, louis pinged me and said yes to 1 time service. finally! a honest reputable lawn company that knows how to read rquests and respects homeowners desires. Louis came and did a fantastic job. he was very cordial, nice, and respectful! I highly recommend him!

I had a panic trying to get my lawn together before Halloween and grabbed the first person off of thumbtack - and I was lucky. Lou was very quick to respond, excellent communication! And he did a wonderful job, even offering suggestions to help my lawn in the future. He's very knowledgeable and a good working.
Professionalism and customer service need work. We agreed to every other Wednesday. He came on Monday. We did not get a chance to walk the yard for poop. He then dumped dog stools on our patio. And, he obviously knew we have a dog, but left the gate wide open. Overall, it was not a positive experience. I do not recommend this company.
Responded quickly, came out the next day, and used the requested mower setting. Also trimed and cleaned up completly.
Working with Luiz was great. He did a beautiful job getting the sod in to our pre-laid stone work. Great communication. I will hire him again if necessary for future projects.
I would not recommend hiring Lou, he does not stand behind his work. He did a good job installing the sod. But then more than half the sod died. According to him, it was a bad pallet, but the nursery would not replace it. I said I would pay for the new sod, he agreed to install on Friday or Monday (photos scheduled for Tuesday). While I checked to confirm when he would be here, he ghosted me. I finally heard from him on Saturday, he said he had been ill. I would think even if ill, he could text. I have not heard from him since Saturday, so I have no choice but to hire someone to redo his job. I verified the grass was bad, I purchased some at home depot and it did fine.
I found Lou's Lawn Care on Thumbtack. Luiz contacted me and made an appointment the next day to come look at the lawn. His estimate was less than I had expected so I expanded the work I wanted done. He kept me informed when the sod was purchased and when he would arrive, which was a few days later. I paid through Zelle. He arrived with his help, raked the leaves, put down a soil bed and then the turf. He inspected thoroughly, made sure the turf wasn't interfering with the sprinkler system and we tested that system together. He advised me how long to let the grass grow, when to water, when it would be safe to fertilize, the whole ball of wax. The lawn looks great and I couldn't be more pleased.
