Cleanflow sent an inexperienced technician to service my fireplace whom I paid $99 to troubleshoot. 1. He didn't introduce himself, give me a business card, or show any evidence he worked for CleanFlow. 2. When he tried lighting the pilot light in my gas fireplace, he forgot to open the gas line, which I had to remind him to do. 3. He doesn't know how to arrange the logs in my fireplace, stating he needed a photo from previously to figure out how to do this. 4. He didn't properly troubleshoot the Lennox Fireplace Gas Valve assembly, because he didn't have knowledge or experience to do so. 5. He exclaimed, "there is a gas leak in your house" but meanwhile our gas stove is working fine. 6. After proceeding to tell me there's a gas leak, he closed up my fireplace and didn't turn off the gas line leading to the main gas valve. I got the impression he doesn't know what he was doing thus didn't know how to shut off the gas. If you are concerned about a leak then you should shut off the gas line you just handled, provided you have the knowledge to do this. 7. I would appreciate a refund of my $99, because you sent me a technician with no proper knowledge of the job.

Reviews
Honestly, believe the bad reviews. I was given a price of $69 for dryer inspection AND cleaning and $49 for chimney inspection, plus $200 fee if cleaning is required. The inspector took a quick look at the chimney and determined cleaning was not necessary. Then he looked at the dryer and stated he couldn't clean the dryer vent from inside because he was worried about damaging it, and that because it was a 2nd floor condo, it would cost SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($650!!!!) for the dryer vent cleaning!!! Absolutely outrageous. For context, 2nd floor condo dryer vent cleanings on average are around $200. So I paid $118 for a 10 minute looksies and he was increasingly agitated when I protested so I let it go. I would say look elsewhere.
Scheduled a gas fireplace appointment only to have the tech call with an hour left in the appointment window and tell us he doesn’t service gas fireplaces but would send another tech our way…and then no one showed up. Took off work for nothing, wasted our time, and never reached back out.
They arrived well past the arrival window promised. I confirmed twice that the total price for a chimney and dryer vent cleaning was $269. Before starting the work the technician then said $199 for the dryer and $299 for the chimney. When I said I confirmed $269 for both, he told me he’d just brush the chimney and use a blower through the dryer vent—not the full cleaning. I also asked for before and after photos for the chimney. The technician didn’t take “before” photos until he was conducting the work so there was too much dust in the photos to see anything.
Great work and speedy
sent tech for wrong job. i asked for chimney section repair and clean and included pictures. would not recommend
they came. Charged a lot for what was supposed to be fixed and it still did not work. Worst is that they kept saying a new piece is needed and after every fix not working. They said they will refund me but that enlever happened ! Worst experience ever !
