They did not finish the job. I paid them $215 to hang 1 set of drapes and despite numerous calls and repeated promises they’d return, did not return to complete cornice. No longer responding after collecting full payment.

Felt duped honestly , he charged me for for the purchase of expensive tools like drills and hacksaw. When i protested paying for tools that he kept after the installation, i think he just shifted the sum to labor costs. All in all an expensive transaction would not recommend if you are on a budget.
Joe was very responsive and talked me through there process. Noah from Lunar Handyman did an excellent job hanging my mirror. He was professional, punctual, and very detail-oriented. He made sure everything was perfectly aligned and secure, and he worked efficiently while still taking great care with the placement. This guy is a JOKE! I had a very disappointing experience with Lunar Handyman (Joe). I should have listened to the negative reviews but decided to give him a chance. Unfortunately, he spent more time talking than working. He initially promised to complete all the tasks in about 1.5 days for $700–$1,000, but after three days, only half the work was done. The TVs were mounted too low and had to be redone, and despite clear instructions to prioritize certain tasks due to time constraints, those directions were ignored. To make matters worse, he left our door wide open when he left. I do not recommend this service. We ended up using Able services and as much as I want to keep him to myself I’ll gladly share he has been a godsend. Everyone deserves a second chance and we gave this guy 2 opportunities to provide good service. Instead of trying to improve the situation and avoid a bad review. He chose to ignore the situation, he didn’t even attempt to call to apologize or own up to his bad service and lack there of. Worlds worst! I shouldn’t be able to tell you about Joe’s whole personal life that’s a testament to his priorities being on him and not the customer. Be a better company and stop ripping people off!
Joe and Daniel were amazing - they responded immediately to my request and came out to hang my curtains the next day!! The curtains look amazing!! They are fairly priced and so punctual. 11/10 recommend!!!

Based on the reviews here I decided to use Lunar to install some blinds, smart lock and window film. Was very responsive at first and installed everything. I'm from out of town so i was not there to inspect but he assured me that everything was installed and had a 1 year warranty so I wasn't worried, this was all easy work. 2 weeks later I was informed by my tenant that the lock was coming off. I let them know and it was fixed within 2-3 days. a month later I visited the home and saw that they did a HORRIBLE job of installing the window privacy film. There were hundreds of air bubbles and the corners were already coming up. Unbelievable that someone would think this was acceptable. Also, the vertical blinds were installed too close to the frame of the door so they could not be fully opened. I let him know and was told he would check with the installer and get back to me. It's been about 1 month now and I'm not getting any text reply or call back, I've sent 4 texts and left 2 VMs. I ended up fixing the blinds myself and will most likely have to do the window film as-well. I would not use this service again, total waste of money. For some reason I'm not able to upload pictures but I'll contact Thumbtack and try to get that resolved.
Joe did an amazing job. I needed help hanging a 70+ pound mirror on my wall. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other parts of my home. Job took under 30 minutes will be using him again.
