LYD Construction

I dont think this company has ethics or professionalism!! I wanted to get a quote from these folks for a kitchen hood installation. Agreed, that it might be a smaller job and if a contractor has other projects lined up they may not want to take up, which is fair!! Instead the lady who called me, who goes by the name Kari said that from her ‘experience’ quotes for this kind of job would be around $50000(😳)and they would only move ahead with actual quote if I was okay with that amount!!!

I requested a bid for a basement remodel. Upon mentioning insurance, they immediately pushed for me to sign a contract and commit to their services before providing an estimate or inspecting the project. While I cannot comment on the quality of their work, I found their approach unprofessional and concerning.

Estimate was quite a bit higher than other suppliers.

Lyd did a great job on my patio. It looks even better than I imagined. They even fixed the retaining wall by my back door as it began to sag.

I hired LYD Construction to turn a closet into a laundry closet because I wanted to move my laundry up from the basement. Lior managed this project throughout. He worked with me to get clear on what I wanted and translate that into a plan. It involved plumbing, electrical, framing, drywall, painting. Lior managed everything perfectly. His crew was very professional, and responsive. I highly recommend Lior and LYD Construction.

Lior and his team were wonderful to work with. He took time to listen to our goals for our exterior painting, storm door, and porch tile project — a friendly, thorough communicator! Once the project was underway, we got regular progress reports by text, and when a few unanticipated changes arose, Lior and his team promptly worked with us to address them. We love our new tile porch and with the lovely, precise trim painting LYD did, our house looks like new. Highly recommend!

Lior was great to work with. He has done a very good job holding together a crew in a very tight labor market. The project was two baths and a Kitchen, living and dining room. Work was completed on schedule even with bumps along the way. The project cost came in as budgeted.

I contacted the company for a quote on remodeling the master and hall bathroom. Lior was very receptive to our needs and suggested a number of ideas before and during the project that were right for our budget and our needs. Most importantly, he works with a set of professionals that truly know their craft: the tile guys did a beautiful job, the plumbing guys were amazing and receptive, and the electric water heater guys were very professional and friendly. They even suggested other ideas that worked much better than our own original plans! Lior was very communicative and made sure he stopped by to ensure that the work was progressing at a reasonable pace. He was available at all times (even during the weekends and on his holidays), making sure that his crew was working all along. With every renovation project there are snags and wrinkles, but Lior made the best of the situation to make sure we were happy with the results.

Had an experience unlike any other. He said he wouldn’t give me a quote or breakdown for the work, only verbal. Then proceeded to ask if “I’ve ever even worked with a contractor before.” When I explained that I had, he drilled down further - “Why aren’t you using your old contractors?” I told him I didn’t want to, and I had selected a contractor due to affordability and he literally rolled his eyes at me and said “hmm, we’ll good luck”. Then proceeded to tell me I didn’t need a contractor and that I should just work directly with custom wood workers and designers, and that I should talk with the contractor before we waste each others time. He literally reached out to me on thumbtack, based on the job description, AND we had a phone conversation about it. I’m absolutely stunned.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Lior on a deck and fence renovation project, and I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the final result. From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional, and the attention to detail was second to none. The team at LYD Construction worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the project was completed to perfection, and the end result speaks for itself. The deck and fence have been transformed from outdated and worn to stunning and modern, and I have received countless compliments from friends and neighbors on how beautiful they look. Not only was the quality of work top-notch, but the customer service and communication throughout the project were also outstanding. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed, and the team was always available to discuss any changes or additions I wanted to make. Overall, I would highly recommend LYD to anyone in need of deck and fence renovation services. The level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service provided by Lior and the team is truly exceptional, and I am so grateful to have worked with them on this project. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space for me to enjoy for years to come!

LYD team did a fantastic job with my bathroom shower surround. A lot of other companies dont want to take on "small jobs" but LYD was happy to take it on! They finished a day earlier than scheduled and i appreciate the communication. Highly recommend

Working with Lior was a breeze mainly because of his honest and reliable communication. We knew exactly what to expect each day and that really helped us plan. The project was finished exactly as scheduled and we are very happy with the quality of work on our newly remodeled bedroom and the reclaimed attic space for storage. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism and quality of work.
