Henry helped save a poorly constructed deck in my backyard that was sagging and presented a tripping hazard. He helped reinforce the existing deck, including rebuilding parts of it, in order to level and make anew. The staircase leading up to our front door was about 12 years old and had become rickety and unsafe. Henry came over to give us an estimate and after comparing bids from another contractor, we decided to hire him. There were several design challenges which he thought through very carefully and checked with us to make sure we would be satisfied with. We are very impressed with the end result as it exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, stability, and appearance.

My wife is a recovering stroke patient and has a right side weakness. We wanted to install a handrail on the left side of our staircase which is her stronger side and would enable her to go down stairs more efficiently. I randomly looked up on line and contacted Henry Lopez. He agreed to come and inspect our house, suggest a suitable handrail and give me a quote. He arrived promptly and suggested the most suitable solution and gave me a reasonable quote. We had it fixed, and I am very happy with his work. Wiould recommend him for any home improvement work.
Henry did an excellent job replacing our stairs, along with the top of the landing on the stairs, and a strip of flooring in front of a downstairs bedroom. He was very conscientious about his work. His pricing was very fair, which was why I hired him. Someone else mentioned he's not a licensed contractor (at least in California), but he did a great job, and for the work that needed to get done, I really didn't mind. Would definitely recommend him for this type of work!
Henry Lopez is a nice guy. The work we had was simple removal and re-installation of some exterior siding and deck boards. Henry and his crew did a good job. The issue we had with Henry was he said he was licensed and insured, but he is not, and we had a difficult time with him to provide confirmation of the W-9 tax ID number.
