he was a smart and helpful guy. would definitely reach out if I need help again with my windows.
Mahmut used his creativity and resourcefulness to fix an ongoing issue with my exterior front door, avoiding the necessity for me to replace the door. He’s a magician!
Mahmut repaired two windows, replacing the exterior trim. He was courteous and professional and did really solid work. I would gladly work with him again!
Worst experience I’ve had on Thumbtack, and I’ve been using the platform for years. He met me at my property, looked over the work I needed done, gave me a quote, and I agreed to hire him based on the work we discussed. I specifically hired him to complete repairs that needed to be done in order for my property to pass a lead inspection, and I was working under a deadline. Unfortunately, he did not complete the work we agreed upon, and the work he did complete was extremely poor. He ruined a window with a terrible paint job and got white paint all over my newly painted porch. I’m now being quoted nearly three times what he originally charged just to correct the damage, redo his work, and finish what he left incomplete. He later blamed being stung by a bee for the poor-quality work and getting paint all over my porch. However, when he called me about the bees while he was working, I offered to bring him bee spray and specifically asked him what he wanted to do because he knew I was on a deadline to have the project completed. At no point did I expect that the solution would be to continue working if he could not do so properly and leave me with damaged property. Because the work was not completed as agreed and now needs to be corrected by someone else, I had to cancel my scheduled lead inspection and was charged a cancellation fee on top of what it is now going to cost me to repair his work. When I pointed out the unfinished items, the condition of the window, and the white paint all over my newly painted porch, instead of handling my concerns professionally, he became aggressive and repeatedly called, texted, and left me voicemails. The situation became concerning enough that I have also filed a formal complaint with Thumbtack regarding my experience and the work performed. I hired a “Pro” because I expected the agreed-upon work to be completed properly and my property to be treated with care. Instead, I was left with unfinished work, damage to my property, a canceled lead inspection and cancellation fee, and a much larger bill to hire someone else to correct and complete everything. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend hiring this Pro.
He was very responsive and took care of our broken window quickly. I appreciated his communication and the transparency of his pricing.
Effective and impressive work ! 😀Would definitely hire again.
Mahmut replaced and installed hardware on two doors. Excellent work, very professional, nice guy. Would hire again.
Mahmut was on time according to our agreement and the project result was as good as I expected and he did it with respect and good professionalism
I asked him to fix a door hing and knob to be able to close and open the door. He also fixed the railing in the hallway. I recommend him.
The top sash of my double hung window would not budge. I could not pull it down or open it to clean. Mahmut came out and found the issue. He then sent me a quote and he ordered the part. When he received the part, he advised me that it had come in and that he would install the part that weekend. The part was giving him a hard time, but Mahmut figured it out and won the battle against the part. Anymore issues I will hire Mahmut again. Thank you so much Mahmut. Great Job!
