We hired Maitland Builders to rebuild our deck — a big project with an elevated deck, a pool surround, cable railing, and a finished enclosure underneath. The finished result looks fantastic: clean lines, great trim work, and a cable railing that really makes it. Daniel, Vinny and the team were responsive, easy to communicate with, and accommodating of changes throughout. We're really happy with how the space turned out and are looking forward to using it. Would recommend.

About Maitland Builders Contracting
At Maitland Builders, we know that choosing a contractor is about more than comparing prices. You’re trusting someone with your home, your investment, and a project that can affect your everyday life for weeks or even months. That’s why we built our company around three things: quality workmanship, clear communication, and a well-managed construction process. Maitland Builders is a licensed and insured residential general contractor serving homeowners throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We specialize in basement renovations, decks and porches, kitchens, bathrooms, framing and structural work, finish carpentry, flooring, drywall, painting, and larger residential remodeling projects. From the first walkthrough to the final inspection, our goal is to make the process as organized and straightforward as possible. We help coordinate permits, inspections, materials, scheduling, subcontractors, and the different phases of construction so our clients always understand what is happening and what comes next. We take pride in doing things the right way — not rushing through important details, cutting corners, or disappearing after the job starts. Our clients work directly with our team throughout the project, and communication remains a priority from beginning to end. Whether we are building a new deck, finishing a basement, completing structural work, or renovating multiple areas of a home, we approach every project with the same level of care and responsibility. We are not trying to be the cheapest contractor on Thumbtack. We want to be the company you feel confident hiring because you know your project will be taken seriously. Why homeowners choose Maitland Builders: • Licensed & Insured • CSL CS-122989 • Experienced residential remodeling team • Permit and inspection coordination • Detailed proposals and clearly defined scope of work • Consistent communication throughout the project • Professional jobsite management • Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail • Massachusetts & New Hampshire service area We are especially well suited for homeowners looking for a reliable contractor for meaningful renovations and construction projects where quality, communication, and proper project management matter. If you’re planning a project, send us a message with a brief description, your location, and any photos or plans you may have. We would be happy to learn more about your project and see if Maitland Builders is the right fit for your home.

I could not be more happy about my experience with Team Maitland. From my first interaction with them, which literally came minutes after my initial inquiry, to finalizing our plan and lastly, walking through the finished result, I felt nothing short of valued. We inquired about adding on to our deck for a hot tub installation and ended up with a luxurious entertaining space we will use for years to come. I was impressed with the ideas they brought forth that ended up being perfect for the job and things we would not have thought of. On top of that, they were responsive, clean, polished and professional. And we are generally super picky! We’ve already had them quote additional interior projects for our home and going forward, they will be our go-to team for any remodeling efforts we pursue. In fact, we are putting together a list! ☺️ I highly recommend giving the team at Maitland an opportunity to quote your project.
Maitland did a great work with our Deck reconstruction and The Patio. their work quality was great and they completed the project within given timeline. Besides this, they were really nice to work with and we look forward to working with them again soon!
Maitland construction did a great job in putting up crown molding in my house. I originally gave them the wrong crown molding. when I told them I wanted a different crown molding they were more than happy to oblige and get me the crown molding that I wanted. For any carpentry jobs I have in the future Maitland will be the first company that I call.
quality work, will use them again
Vinny Daniel and their team did an amazing job. Very punctual, very organized, and high quality work. Final inspector also told me they did a great job. Looking forward to the next project.
Vinicius and his team were very professional. Comunication was excellent, he commuicated from start to finish of every step. The completed work of my front porch steps and railings look wonderful. They were also fast and efficient. I look forward to working with them on future projects!
Great working with Vinicius and crew! Very professional and super responsive! Were there every step of the way to address any concerns! Installed our flush framed steel beam for our kitchen addition flawlessly. Highly recommend!! Passed inspection with flying colors!
Daniel and his team designed and built my new deck. They were able to help come up with creative solutions to solve all my needs. Everyone who has seen the deck loves it. Would definitely recommend the team for your needs.
We had a new prehung front door installed. The Maitland team did an efficient and excellent job. We are impressed at the quality of the work and we recommend Maitland builders to our friends.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Vinny and his team at Maitland Builders. Vinny responded to my quote request right away and came by within a couple of days to give me a quote. I selected them for their professionalism and great price. Vinny kept in contact with me during the entire process. He was very flexible when we had to reschedule due to delays on my end. I had my front entry door, storm door and front steps replaced. The team did a great job and installed everything as requested and checked in each day to make sure everything was going as planned and made any adjustments I requested throughout the process. I am very satisfied with the work done and I love my new doors and porch. I look forward to working with Vinny and the team again in the future. I would definitely recommend Maitland Builders!
I was quoted for a full removal of a ceiling and walked in on them just covering it up with new drywall. Drywall installer told me that putting the drywall over the original horsehair ceiling was not the correct way to install but did it anyway because that’s what he was instructed to do. In the pictures you can see the original ceiling being covered up. Had I not walked in on them I may have never seen what they were trying to covering up and paid for a hack job that would have to be redone. Their poor work cost me a large amount of time and money that I’ll never get back. They did offer to rectify the obvious issue that I with no construction background pointed out .The trust was already broken and in my opinion any company that would do that level of work is not welcome at my house.
Great group of boys! Workmanship was great and the job was done as discussed.
MaitLand Builders did a great job installing my fire rated door
Mainland did an excellent job replacing my front door! They were on time and very professional. Cleaned up the mess like they were never there.
