We booked with Make it a Double in February for our September wedding, Chris made the entire process very approachable. Once we finalized our drink options, Chris and team helped us create a liquor list with suggested brands/quantity, we ended up with no bottle left unopened which was AWESOME to not have to spend more money than necessary. Our bartender for the night, Mason, received positive reviews from our guests, the set up and tear down was timely and organized. We couldn't have asked for more!

About Make it a Double LLC
At Make it a Double, great hospitality comes first. Founded in 2022 and backed by 17+ years of hospitality experience, including Michelin-level cocktail programs and private events, we bring professional bar service to events of every size—from private parties and weddings to corporate events and large-scale activations. Need experienced bartenders and already have everything else covered? We can handle that. Want the entire bar taken care of? We can help with staffing, bar setup, glassware, ice, mixers, garnishes, custom drink menus and the logistics that go into making beverage service run smoothly. We also believe guests who aren't drinking deserve something better than an afterthought. Through our sister company, Cool Cucumber Co., we offer award-winning, made-from-scratch mocktails using fresh ingredients. Whether we're providing the bartenders or handling the full beverage experience, our goal is simple: make your event easier to host and better for your guests. Professional. Reliable. Hospitality without compromise.
Reviews
There was an error on the date we needed them, but Chris was able to get a bartender to work our event at the last minute. The bartender was friendly and helpful in clean-up of the event.
We had a great experience using Make it a Double! They provided two bartenders to our holiday party, and it went seamlessly. They came up with specialty cocktails/mocktails for us, and the event was a hit!
David was amazing! He helped make our party a lot of fun and I got to enjoy the whole thing because I wasn’t tending a bar. I would absolutely hire him again.
Chris is amazing! He hosted my 40th birthday with a great range of cocktails and mocktails. He was such a sweetheart that guests enjoyed chatting with him too. My husband and I highly recommend him and wish him the very best with his future endeavors in bartending and cocktail mixology! He's a good human (and a skilled bartender). :)
Chris was amazing! He did an excellent job teaching the mixing class and keeping the party vibes going. I would definitely recommend them for any party!
Chris was great, the cocktail/mocktail he made was delicious and a hit with my guests. Having Chris bartend my event really classed it up and I am grateful to him for making it a success!
We wanted a celebration mimosa/bloody mary bar for a celebration. Chris was fantastic - responsive, on time, great set-up, friendly, and professional. He even took the initiative when cleaning up to get a few more drinks set up for the late-comers.
We had Christopher over to lead a mixology course for my husband’s birthday. He taught us how to make the drinks and a little bit about them. His drinks were amazing. Very delicious! We had a great time.
Christopher was an excellent addition to our party. We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday and he helped us with a signature drink ( Pete's Old... Fashioned), recommended a great rye from our home state of Maryland, and was ready to make any drink our guests requested. At the end of the night, he slipped out after cleaning everything up and left many of our guests asking for his card. He was professional, on-time and set a great bar. We will definitely be using his services again!
