Allow me to introduce myself! I have over 20yrs experience in make-up artistry. I specialize in weddings, proms, pageants, photography, television and commercial work. My training and education in make-up artistry stems from major prestige cosmetic companies such as Clinique, Christian Dior and Lancome. I am a licensed Cosmetologist. Josie did our make up and my hair for my wedding and it all turned out so beautiful and perfect!! I waited to wash my hair after to see how long my curls would last and it was 3 days which has never happened with my hair before!! I also had an extremely early venue time and she was there right on time even when I was a little late (I still feel bad I was late I’m sorry!)
I couldn't recommend Josie enough. She was always very responsive and has such a positive energy. I felt very relaxed and beautiful on my wedding day because she did such a wonderful job on everyone. I don't wear makeup often, but Josie was awesome about explaining everything she was doing and answered questions that my bridesmaids had about makeup in general. One of my bridesmaids did tear up after she saw her makeup! Josie is really skilled at what she does and she's such a genuinely lovely person to be around, I couldn't recommend anyone better!
Josie was AMAZING!! So sweet of a person and so talented! Josie did my makeup for my wedding as well as hair and makeup for all 6 of my bridesmaids! She worked efficiently and beautifully and was such a great presence on wedding day! I would recommend Josie to anyone and her rates are as great as her work! Everything about working with Josie was absolutely outstanding. In addition to her amazing skills (and 20+ years experience) as a makeup artist, her sweet personality made it a complete joy to work with her. I hired her to do my makeup for my wedding, as well as makeup for my five bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law, and two flower girls. We also did a bridal makeup trial about a month beforehand (an additional service that is well worth the cost). Josie was always early. She arrived at the wedding venue before any of us had even figured out where to park. She was so professional throughout all of our interactions. All of my girls loved her, and they all commented on how good our makeup looked. Her portfolio is expansive; she is truly an artist. I would highly recommend her!!
Josie was great to work with. She traveled a pretty large distance to come to my home for a trial and come for my wedding. Since I rarely wear makeup, I requested something light. She did everything to accommodate my requests and if I didn't like anything, she was sure to fix it. If I ever require makeup services again, she'll be first on my list to contact! (Haven't got my professional pictures yet, so the attached picture doesn't give justice, but she did a great job!)
