Excellent work! Mariah was responsive and caring of my needs and wishes. Her team was very professional and came when they said they would. I am very happy with the end result. And, they were patient with my dog!

About Mariah | MUD Construction
Hi, I’m Mariah — owner of MUD Construction, an all-women construction crew providing home repairs, renovations, and improvement services throughout Champaign County and surrounding areas. We’re problem solvers. Whether you have a repair that needs attention, a renovation you’re ready to tackle, or a project you’re not even sure how to approach, our team can help you determine the right solution and get it done. Our crew brings training and experience across construction and specialized trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, kitchen and bathroom renovations, installations, and punch-list repairs. We believe homeowners shouldn’t have to become construction experts just to take care of their homes. We explain what we find, provide recommendations, communicate clearly, and help our clients make confident decisions about their projects. Professional. Knowledgeable. Approachable. And qualified to do the work.
Reviews
I found Mariah and her team online for some household repairs. They are all knowledgeable and efficient and made sure I was getting the best price by shopping around for replacement items as needed. The fact that they’re all women supporting other women is a bonus 💪🏼
Mariah did an amazing job putting up some floating shelves for me. She was very quick to respond to me and it was clear she had the skills. Will definitely use her again. Highly recommend!
She did a great job helping us solve our doorbell issue. We would for sure ask her back to help with future projects.
We had a challenging sink change. She stuck with it and did so much extra to help us get it done. She came back over and over and got replacement parts to fix the problems. Plus, she was kind, silly, and delightful to work with through ALL the hours it took.
Mariah was very professional and friendly. I will work with her again!
Mariah is who she says she is! Professional, trustworthy and straight to the punch. Would highly recommend
She did great work. She’s knowledgeable about a variety of areas. A great all around handywoman
Mariah did a great job! She replaced the battery in emergency exit door for our store because it’s been chirping for a while due to low battery. Will definitely be using her again! Thanks!
Mariah was prompt, explained what work was done and why. Down to earth and wasn't snobbish. I will DEFINETLY be calling her in the near future. Did a fine job!
