Yes, some people are more gifted in these subjects than others, but I think we can all do well in these fields with proper teaching. In my experience, many students struggle because they are not being taught in a way that is most conducive to their learning. I work to cater my teaching to the individual so that concepts are fundamentally understood, not just memorized for the next test. We are all different, and we all learn differently. My philosophy in this regard respects just that. Brandon has been great, he tutors both of my high school daughters for both physics and math. He was instrumental for my 11th grader to get to an A in AP physics as he figured out how to help her understand physics in a way that clicked for her. He is also flexible and easy to work with.
