About Math and Physics Tutoring
I offer one on one tutoring in Physics and Mathematics. I am patient , and always try to present complex concepts as simply as possible. I strive to gear the tutoring to the individual and focus on whatever concepts the student is currently having difficulty with. In order to give potential customers a risk-free opportunity to evaluate my service, I offer the first one hour tutoring session for free. I enjoy working with young people and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. I have had the opportunity to work with young ( and old) , people from all over the world. I care about the subjects I tutor and it gives me satisfaction, if I can share my knowledge with students. I tutor online using webcams or a smartphone and the Zoom video conferencing app. A possible simple setup using smartphones is shown in the attached photos . This allows student and teacher to observe what the other is writing, almost as though they were seated next to each other.

My 17 year old daughter has learned so much and Tom H is incredibly talented and there for her. Highly recommend!!!!
My daughter had her first tutoring session with Tom. He was very patient and understood where she was struggling. He was helpful and very knowledgeable. Would def hire him again.
Tom has been working with my daughter on precalc for months. She Rea likes the way he explains things and his style. He is flexible and very reasonably priced!
My HS son enjoys working with him after tried other 2.
Tom is very knowledgeable. He is able to recognize problems and he can solve them in many ways. He explains things with great detail. For the price is well worth it.
Tom is a wonderful tutor! My son is a college freshman and was really struggling in calculus. I am a single mom and was really worried that I couldn't afford a tutor. Tom's rates were very affordable and reasonable. He is in a different state than my son, but that didn't hinder anything, they just do the tutoring online. He is very professional and my son had nothing but great things to say about him. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Tutor. Our daughter had such a better understanding and greater confidence. She said she learned more with Tom than she had anyone else.
Flexible hours and a really good teacher
Where do I even begin to speak about the Calculus wizard that is Tom!!! I was on the brink of failing Calculus I & II, and somehow & someway, Tom was able to work with me for two whole semesters through his professional & virtual tutoring via Zoom. He is willing to work around your schedule and is the most understanding person. If Tom offered tutoring in more areas, I would definitely utilize him again. In conclusion: A BIG thank goes out to Tom in terms of helping me navigate through Calculus- I couldn’t have gotten through Calc without him.
Tom is very knowledgeable and professional and was able to help me brush up on my Calculus knowledge just as I needed.
Explained everything really well.
It has been a big help for my daughter
