I am committed to improving student's test scores, grades and confidence in the area of Math in a effective, fun and personalized approach to best meet each individual needs. I have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and have been tutoring various levels of Math for over 25 years at both American and French Schools. I have taught math to hundreds of students and my areas of expertise are: -Arithmetic -Pre-Algebra -Algebra I -Algebra II -Geometry Fees range from $60-$70 depending on students class I offer tutoring online only, via Zoom. We had tried a Geometry Zoom class with Dea for my middle school boy, and he loved it! The class was run very effectively and my boy loved the probing questions, and explanations that ensued. We however decided to go with an in-person tutor for a change. We would not think twice about using Dea’s services in the future or if the situation changed.
We have been taking lessons for my son for the last 10 sessions. So far the experience is positive. Dea was able to teach my son the different techniques and principles of integer operations and equations. I could see my son learning well and understanding also. He was able to share this well at his summer school. Thanks to her for her teaching technique and looking forward to more lessons this summer. Dea really helped her grasp the concepts better than her school resources has been able to do beforehand. She was very professional and accommodating with scheduling sessions as well.
