Task: Clean my gamer pc, laptop, and mouse Pros: Matt was attentive, called me and picked up my gamer pc the same day with an expected 24 hour turn around (3pm). He communicated day off drop off that he would need an extra 24 hours due to another project, I approved. Cons: I had to contact him since I had not heard from him and he said he can drop my pc off at 6pm. That is not what we agreed to. After communicating my urgency he dropped it off at 3:30pm. My PC was not fully cleaned, only the fans, my keyboard and mouse were untouched, I could wipe a layer of dust off of every item. I would have preferred him to communicate that he was unable to clean my items instead of stating he could. He did offer a partial refund which I have not seen come to my account as of yet.
My experience with MattPro IT Solutions was beyond fantastic. I submitted a ticket on thumbtack after I had cracked my MacBook Pro screen. Within 2 minutes (maybe less), Matt had responded personally, and gave a comprehensive repair plan via phone as well an estimate. Matt and I coordinated via email a date for an in-home repair after I had purchased the necessary replacement part online. He arrived early and immediately began work. Within an hour, Matt had completely replaced my MacBook Pro screen--which given the complexity of MacBooks, is insanely impressive! I cannot overstate enough how positive my experience was. All in, I spent $350 on parts ($230) and labor ($120). At minimum I saved more than $500 (Apple quoted me $800+ for the repair!), and at maximum I saved more than $1,000 (cost of a new MacBook Pro). Not to mention the time I saved going through MattPro IT Solutions as opposed go Apple. Apple would have shipped my computer off for a few weeks for the repair; Matt finished this project within a few business days of submitting my ticket! The new screen is fully functional, as is the built in camera. I cannot distinguish between the old and the new. I will be giving Matt's business card to all my friends and family.
