Reviews
This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time with a contractor. The response was rapid. The work was excellent, and beyond what I could imagine. The prices were very reasonable. Cracks in my garage floor were repaired and the proper support was added to my deck to stop and prevent the buckling boards. I will be definitely be using Matuz Masonry again as well as make referrals.
He listened and did the job as i asked.
18 x 18 Paper patio with walkway to steps Couldn’t be happier with the work that was formed. The crew was great.
All good
Matuz was quick to schedule a a consultation, provided a prompt quote, and got straight to work once the terms were agreed on. Once materials arrived they started the next day, and work was completed on the provided schedule. Very happy with the final product.
Did a very good job with a small concrete repair job - punctual, professional. Would use their services again.
Jose' & his crew were very responsive to my needs and professional. The job was reasonably priced and they made sure to clean up behind themselves when they were done.
Matuz Masonry rejointed all the mortar of the brick steps leading up to front door. They were responsive, punctual and got the project done as described. They provided a preestimate and completed the project professionally. Jose was great and greatly recommend them!
I had an excellent experience working with Matuz Masonry. From start to finish, Jose and his team were professional, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented. The crew took the time to explain each step of the project and made sure everything was done the right way—not just the quick way. The quality of Matuz workmanship truly stands out. The brickwork is clean, precise, and beautifully finished. They kept the work area tidy throughout the project and completed everything on schedule. I highly recommend this company. I’m extremely satisfied with the outcome and will definitely use them again for future projects.
Matuz Masonry was excellent to work with. They were very responsive, provided an estimate, got the work done rapidly, and when I asked for a revision (found out during the project how off center my walkway is- a result of previous work)- they revised the project. I’m very pleased with the outcome and feel the value of the project was great.
They did a great job replacing our front walkway
Jose Matuz Masonry LLC was excellent. They showed up on the days they were supposed to come. They did excellent job on my foundation wall including fixing cracks, took out old patio/steps and rebuilt a new one. I am very pleased with their service

Excellent company who was able to accommodate our needs. Jay was very responsive, quick turn in the completion of the project and affordable. I would definitely recommend him for your patio design and service!
Matuz masonry stood by their mission and promises. They exude professionalism, attention to detail, and utmost dedication to their craft. They provided us with impeccable service at an unbeatable price. We were unfortunately deceived by a previous contractor with sloppy masonry work; Matuz crew came in and performed a complete demolition; within a week we had a spectacular brick wall that is admired by the entire neighborhood. Thank you Matuz Masonry. You guys rock!!!
Jose and his team were professional and their work was flawless. I definitely will definitely use them again.
Jose was awesome from start to finish. The proposal had a quick turnaround and was a great price for deck removal and new patio (wood and paver) build. Work was done within a week and looks great. Jose was super helpful in rethinking the space and maximizing our useable area. Highly recommend.
Prompt response to request for estimate. Arrived on time. Provided pictures of past projects. Looking forward to working with him.
Very professional and great quality work! I would definitely refer them to a friend or hire again!
