All around this was a terrible customer experience. The initial service was ok. He made a mistake and had to end up patching the drywall to fix the mistake. When he came back the next day to fix his mistake I asked if he could do another outlet job that was the same work he had done before, but in the garage and he said it would be no problem. This job also had some mistakes including over stripping a wire and the electrical box not being straight. He had to leave and couldn’t finish the job leaving us without power in the garage, which resulted in an issue with the garage door when I lowered it manually requiring me to call a garage door technician to fix the garage door. Since he couldn’t get the power on, I ended up having an electrician come out to finish the work and I finished the drywall patch myself after not feeling comfortable with the work even though he offered to come back and investigate at a later date. Then came payment. I get a message asking for payment and then shortly after his initial message asking for payment, but not telling me how much or how to pay he reached out with a very aggressive message threatening legal action for non payment. I expected to pay for two jobs at the price quoted since he didn’t say otherwise, but the second job ended up being 50% more expensive and he said the first price was for a first time client special? Overall very bad customer experience.

Paul is friendly, honest, and does outstanding work. I didn’t have the budget to replace my entire fence, but it had a lot of damage—holes and missing boards—from my son’s dogs. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a “before” photo, but the “after” looks great! Paul made sure everything was done right and at a fair price. He’s definitely my go-to handyman now!

I needed an eave vent installed on my north side of the house, I’m disabled, and the snow makes access very difficult plus junipers to set up a ladder and go up about 2.5 stories, so I hired through Thumbtack. Mazzikk came one evening fully intent on getting it done, but we decided to wait for him to use his partner to steady the ladder etc for safety. They ended up having to modify the vent opening slightly using one of my two by fours so the vent would have a good surface for installation, (1953 dimensions vs today’s stock materials strikes again) and I also cut a piece of fine mesh hardware cloth to keep future critters out, they did a great job of installing it safely, and wanted to ensure that I was happy with the work.
