I had carpet installed by a Menards recommended installer. He did a horrible job uneven seams, gaps between the wall and the carpet. I contacted Metro flooring. Matthew came over gave me an estimate and fixed my carpet. He was professional, friendly, I did a wonderful job it looks 100% better. I would definitely use Metro flooring and recommend them to my friends.

Matt did an excellent job on my house! He made my dream come true to restore the stairs in my 1897 house. The stairs were covered with hundreds (maybe thousands!) of staples and nails, multiple layers of paint, and a rubber traction strip that seemed melded to the wood. He carefully removed all the spindles and trim, numbering each to make replacement easy. With much effort he scraped all those layers away, sanded and applied a non-slip coating. The wood is beautiful! He has great equipment to suck up all the dust and dirt so the rest if my house stayed clean. He also removed the upstairs carpet and i plan to have him come back to refinish those hard wood floors. You can’t go wrong with this company and good price too.
If you want quality work and a contractor who does what he promises and shows up on time, Matthew with Metro Flooring is the guy for you. His work ethic is commendable. He arrived on time and stayed as long as our schedule allowed. He was respectful of our home and pets. He was polite and friendly. I really can’t say enough about him. He’s a younger guy and If he were my son I would be super proud of him. I highly recommend him for your flooring job!

Matthew McDonald is an exceptional craftsman. He excelled in every area of expectation. Our floor is beautiful. His knowledge, skill and attention to detail was over the top.
Matthew was fantastic to work with. Previous experiences with flooring vendors have been disappointing for many reasons. Matthew met all expectations - quality of work is great, I saw no imperfections as I have with other vendors. He’s very clean - never left a mess, always put things back where he found it. He was patient with my many changes, ready to meet any change request. I will be referring him to anyone who has flooring needs. TY Matthew!!
