Douglas was so helpful with installing our vanity. He got everything done in a timely and efficient manner. I even had them do a few extra tasks after he offered his services. I highly recommend him for anything you need done around your home!

Doug and his team did an outstanding job installing our laminate flooring. The quality of his work is excellent—the floors look absolutely great and completely transformed the space. He was efficient and professional, finishing the entire project within a single day without cutting any corners. What really stood out was how clean and organized he kept everything. He made sure to clean up thoroughly after the job, which I really appreciated. Overall, I have zero complaints and would absolutely hire Doug again for future projects. Highly recommend!
We discovered damage to a floor while actively selling our house so needed a quick and solid fix—Douglas and his team came through and replaced the whole thing the day after I contacted him, and had it done beautifully before the day’s end. The whole team was professional, skilled, and kind and the overall experience was nothing but positive!

We had baseboard installed, painted, and caulked. They were very response, offered a fair price, and did quality work. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job quickly. Very professional and respectful of our home.

MJ was the most patient contractor I've dealt with. His communication skills explaining the scope of work helped me to make informed decisions. He kept me in the loop about issues that arose. He was not pushy at all. The quality of work he and his team were committed to was very thorough.
He seems very amiable. The work was if low general quality. His finish work needs more attention to detail. For example, where the tile meets the wall, there is over paint, on wall tile, and trim. The caulking color he used at the wall tile seam is different colors on one side of the door than the other in the shower where the wall meets tile, the caulking job is sloppy and inadeqate The tile painting has spots where it was missed or preparation wasn't adequate. You can see the original color in places. The glass shelving he installed in the corner of the shower is unstable if anything is put in the outside half the shelf. When he left, the sink stopper was disconnected and closed. He argued that he didn't didn't replace the fixture, my response was that it worked when you arrived and you were in the bathroom fro 5 days with the door shut over the weekend, it's your responsibility now. He insisted on replacing the fixrue at a charge. He claimed to warrant work a year, he called or texted several times, wanting a review, I sent him the feedback, and that I needed him to make right. I haven't heard from him since
Working with Douglas at MJ Contractors was amazing. He messaged me here on thumbtack within minutes & came to visit my property the very next day! Douglas was extremely communicative. We were hit by a tornado & had extensive fence damage. Douglas & his team began working promptly. The weather & freezing temperatures were against us, but the entire team worked diligently & efficiently to get the job done. They did a fantastic job!! I have plans on some additional exterior & interior work, I wouldn’t think twice about using Douglas at MJ Contractors again.

I highly recommend finding another company. Douglas was really nice and the communication seemed good between us. I addressed what all needed done and his quote was cheaper turns out I only got half the work. He started the project and never came back to finish is. I have a huge hole in my wall that somebody else has to fix. He also dented the drywall in the adjoining bedroom when installing a sink. He and I had been in contact many times after. Then he stopped responding with the job still incomplete. I recommend finding someone else. Sorry for the bad review Douglas. These are the facts

We had a quote done for us over the weekend and our job completed that same week. Price was very fair and our fireplace and bathroom turned out amazing! We will definitely keep Douglas in mind for our next project. I added our before and after of our fireplace.

MJ Contractor LLC. Did not do a good job. They used workers that are not skilled. I hired them for a bathroom remodel. It started out great. I added an additional painting project that turned into a nightmare. They had to repaint the project Honestly It’s still not great. I’ve done better myself and I am no painter. Then the same so called painter, broke a pipe behind a wall that flooded through the ceiling below as well as a wall downstairs. See photos of how they left the wall and ceiling. They repaired the damage but rushed it and had to do it a second time as they had caused another leak behind the wall. They did not take the time to do the project right. Everything was rushed and not to standards. Their idea of a finished job does not meet even average do it yourself expectations. Also in the actual bathroom. They never finished the sanding or did a good job skim coating the walls. See the photo of what looks like a skim coat not sanded well and painted when wet. The photos Attached are of what they consider finished and a good job. Do yourself a favor and hire a different contractor. Oh and to add insult to injury. They charge $800. Additional for work that was always part or the the initial estimate.
Very happy with Mr. Douglas' work. He was always in contact with anything he was going to be doing answered any questions I had. Very nice professional guy and crew. Would very highly recommend and will be calling him in the future for any other projects!
