Montrell was an excellent addition to my party. With very little direction she instinctively knew where she was needed and what to do. I would definitely bring her back again for any event that I might need a server. She was very prompt when I reached out to her initially and extremely professional.

Both my husband and I agree that hiring Montrell as our day-of wedding coordinator was easily the best decision we made. We connected about 7 months prior to our big day. Most wedding coordinators we interviewed would only meet the month of the wedding, but I wanted to meet more often to ensure I wasn't missing anything important. Montrell and I had roughly 1 phone call/Zoom meeting each month leading up to the month before our wedding, and that became weekly calls with text updates all the time over the month before. Turns out she was building an entire binder for just our wedding full of vendor information, preferences, ideas, questions, etc. She worked closely with our venue contact to make the day flow flawlessly. Montrell contacted all of our vendors, confirmed the details of our contracts, coordinated arrival times, built a day-of timeline (which she sent to the entire wedding party in advance), set up/broke down all of the decor, and handled all last-minute questions/issues flawlessly. She had back-up plans for my back-up plans. Another vendor we hired was particularly challenging to work with day-of, but Montrell navigated through the communication challenges with poise and professionalism. She knew that having a few minutes to collect ourselves and grab a bite to eat before the ceremony was important to us, and made sure to protect that time regardless of what our other vendors wanted. She was there to make sure our day flowed as we hoped, and she was a master at it! Throughout the month after our wedding Montrell sent follow-up texts to ask about married life, to tell us she heard our wedding song, and to remind us to send thank you notes. My husband and I highly recommend Montrell. She was responsive, professional, a logistics queen, and brought our vision to life. Not to mention that her fee was nearly 1/3 the cost of other coordinators we interviewed, and she provided SO MUCH more than they would!!! We've already provided her information to several other engaged couples in our circle, and cannot wait to recommend her to other people. She is a dream, and you would be crazy not to hire her.

Thank you MJM for coming to my rescue at the last minute and making the process easy and convenient. I worked with another event company for two weeks and they ended up giving the staff for my event to another client because I missed their email to confirm payment four days before my event. I missed the email due to traveling and delayed internet. The company didn’t call/ text me to inform me although we’ve communicated via phone several times which I thought strange. Anyway, I messaged MJM and Montrell got back to me immediately with a price and plan. Didn’t require down payment and had the latest payment methods which is another winner for me. Tanny the waitstaff was wonderful, on time and professional! She held it down while I was running all over the place. She asked questions about the event and listened. Later I saw she had wrote on the extra little food signs “Eid” and “1442” which is the holiday and Islamic year. I was really impressed because she did this on her own. This was a small detail but made a big impression on me as not many people know about the Islamic Eid holidays. I am very loyal to businesses that makes me feel like a valued customer and delivers with professionalism! First impressions are a lasting impression and therefore I locked in MJM as my number ONE event company!
MJM events is great! I would not have been able to execute my microwedding vision without Montrell and her team! After changing our plans several times, due to COVID-19, I was stressed and did not have all the resources to take care of logistics and small details. I found MJM events 2 weeks before my wedding and Montrell helped me organize my ideas and my wedding day schedule. She was attentive, and organized and prepared.
